I'm not sure about ruling Cancellara out. If he pulls off something like in le Tour last year...I'm pretty sure he'll manage to survive the hills with enough energy left for an attack in the last 2 kms
I'm thinking that aswell
I'm not boasting or anything, but the above is quite similar to what happened.
Fabian is just fantastic
it is indeed. when he attacked I immediately though of that post

Well, Cancellara attacked with 3 km to go from a group of approximately 10 riders. Nobody reacted immediately, so he made it to the end. Then Pozatto won the group sprint ahead of Gilbert. |

4 riders from French teams, and one Frenchie in the top 10, that's elements to take into consideration when measuring the amount of dope use in the peloton.

Simply amazing...feels like he has peaked slightly early though, and if he hasn't, then the others have some serious problems in RvV, G-W, P-R |

It's my way of jinxing it. I'm only honest before the race. Basically if Freire or Bettini won it, my reaction would've been
(or something)

Only saw a recap of the race, but im still surprised to see Cancellara win. Didnt thought it was his kind of race.

Well, it's more to do with the idiots looking at each other without pedalling for about 10 seconds instead of chasing, than it is to do with Cancellara being so strong.

Although I think that now Cancellara has done this twice in close succession, people may start to latch onto him - if they can
Seriously, a great ride by him, if this is him before he has peaked (and even if he has), everyone is going to struggle to beat him

Thats why I can imagine he'll win a few more races like this in his career, and this season.
He's so strong on the flat! |

He's a great TT and he uses that special ability to become unbeatable for about 5km... And he has the bonus of being a very smart rider...
