Meh.. got my whole season planned, just to see the UCI (or whatever it is called nowadays  ) screw it up big time with the Dunkerque goal...
@Ollfardh - Was Brabantse Pijl rejected due to to many applications, or motivation?
- Is it possible to change wildcards that are accepted? |

Right, for the next Wildcard round, you get a chance to remotivate your applications. If they were rejected, it will be because they were not very convincing and the race was popular already.
WT teams can also apply for 5 extra CT races.
CT teams can apply for 5 extra CT or WT races.

Thomas Hinault is fuming at being left out of the racing. Whilst not directly from one of the prescribed regions he is from the Pyrenees and has lived his entire life on the border with Spain. He looks at some of the other riders selected and see no less reason to race than many of them.

We can understand that Hinault would want to take part in the race(s), but we also know that he is not from the Basque region and this unofficial regional championship series is strictly for riders born in one of the three regions composing the greater Basque Region.
For that reason even the local fan favourite Samuel Sánchez have been denied entry as well.
No rider have been invited that doesn't come from the area (according to UCI information), so he will have to be more specific as to which riders are less Basque than himself.
