TMM,
1) Is the budget for season 2 affected by ranking for season 1?
2) Perhaps you can give us just a little peek at the development system...does it have to do with rider results?
Your final Team Ranking position earns you money to spend in the Transfer Period.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

@Numbers
1) Yes, the ranking is the only thing to affect money. The higher the placing the more money.
2) It has nothing to do with results. It is almost entirely randomly generated within a per-defined set of parameters. The almost because i will step in to make it more realistic if things are too fast/slow/odd

If you are looking for a decision on Kristoff, it probably won't be up until tomorrow. I want to give all managers a chance on him

News from Sky:
Ian Stannard is still looking for a team, though management are looking more for talent trades. As a price we are looking for at least 750,000
Others bar Froome and most of the new signings are available. It is nice of you are going for someone to FUVE me an initial offer!

I have no ambitions for climbing and gc. He had no real ambitions on sprinting. I wanted another big sprinter and no-one (including you) was willing to go with it.

You mean Sutty, the welsh guy, buying Thomas for a lot of money... Yes totally lopsided in favor of Sky. However the deal was started by Sutty so no foul play there.
It's just like Jesl and Kelderman. Obviously he would pay a lot more than he is worth, doesn't make it a cancel-able deal

I actually think Haller for 1.3 mil is more lopsided than Kelderman for 200 k
I'm just butt hurt since I wanted Hesjedal and Thomas

The Haller deal is such a joke... but The Rider wanted to do it so...
I also wanted Thomas... a lot, but i had to concede to a clearly better offer

In response to the recent open pleas by fellow managers, always eager to help out Sky would like to make the following riders available for transfer for cash or part exchange deals:
Kirylenka - The one man mountain train of doom. I am looking for bids in excess of 750,000
Siutsou - Another work horse I have had a bit of interest looking for bids at around 500,000
Oss - recently bought in from BMC, goodies young cobbler/ sprinter type. These guys do not grow on trees perfect for cycle man I should say. Bids of around 500,000 probably more judging on interest for hard man Stannard.
Stannard and possibly young Puccio are about to go for a large bid, Thanks for all the interest in Stannard. If you want him it's going to take a bid in excess of a million.
Kroupis - has been brought in from the xenophobic Orica squad. Better sprinter than some may think. I would look for something around the 500,000 mark.

@ TMM - As cash is pretty worthless especially for me as I will go after 1 free agent max, the deal with welker basically boiled down to = Haller - Guarnieri (Unless you feel Guarnieri will end up a better rider than Haller then I would say I got the best deal)
Goodness knows why people are selling riders for just cash.... Apart from buying free agents cash is completely worthless at this stage and therefore has no value because of the following points:
1) There is no system whereby you are rewarded for having money.
(and most crucially)
2) Budgets don't roll over from season to season.
I hope after a season or two TMM makes it so 'money' has more of a value, maybe concerning scouting or making sure budgets do rollover? |

@Rider
Money is planned to have more uses in the future. Just want to make sure i can handle the current set up for a couple of seasons.
And some of the FA's are rather good in their own right
