@All followers: Once again thanks a lot. Nokere Koerse is up now.
Our squad
Jonas Ek will probably be a back-up leader or pull the pack on the cobbles.
Johnnie Flodder will give it a try in the sprint if he manages to stay with the front riders.
Fatbardh Haxhi will be our leader for today, together with Khieu. Fatbardh can rely on a good sprint.
Simon Holt will just be a domestique today. He isn't very strong on the cobbles.
Heiko Kalichmann will have the same role. He doesn't like cobbles, but he can help protecting.
Khieu Tet Khamphan will be co-leader with Fatbardh today. He can hopefully do well.
Taeke Roorda is another domestique for today. As he is good on the flat he will be useful in the beginning.
Djaja Susanto will also be domestique. This mainly goes for the beginning, before the cobbles start.
The startlist
Weather
11°C, cloudy, dry, not windy at all

Right from the start we have some breaks. Although many attacks don't succeed one does manage to succeed: Dolfsma, Pineau and Robert.
The pack keeps the pace quite low. The WorldTour teams are obviously awaiting the cobbles, where they are likely to up the pace.
The lead quickly increases to over 5 minutes. The pack once again seems very lazy. On the first ascent of the Nokereberg nothing special happens, as is the case for the next cobbles. The pace does increase a little though.
With 100kms to go and a lead of 5 minutes, we suddenly get an attack from the pack: De Backer, Devenyns, Van Hecke and Westra attack.
While the second group is closing in on the break, Planckaert also attacks from the pack. He doesn't get any followers though. With 63kms to go, the 3 groups merge. The lead is just over 3 minutes.
The lead keeps on decreasing and with 25kms to go the lead is 55s. Wynants, Hayman and Phinney try to make a decisive move!
They catch up with the break easily. With 8kms to go the 11 leaders have 33s.
With 4kms to go the leaders are reeled in though. We now drag Johnnie and Fatbardh and hope for a good result in the sprint.
With 1km to go we have a very chaotic situation in the sprint.
But at the line we have a winner. It is
Oss! We meanwhile set a fantastic result with Johnnie coming 3rd and Fatbardh 7th!

So, what were you saying about Oss and Nokere?
Really good result for the team, beating guys like Guarnieri, Bosic, Westra, Debusschere..
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

@Ollfardh: Haha, well spotted. It was very nice indeed
@The Rider&Shonak: If it goes on like this he won't be competition anymore from August on.
Istrian Spring Trophy
A short prologue shouldn't make too much difference, but you never know.
The first stage for the punchers. The differences shouldn't be too big though.
The other stage for the punchers. This is probably where the GC will be decided.
The final stage should end in a mass sprint, but with the small hills you never know.
Our squad
Björn Arvid will be one of our leaders. He is a good puncher, but is he good enough?
Armin Berg-Hansen will hope for a good result in the prologue. He will also be useful in the last stage.
Peter de Groote will probably have the same role. He might do some early relays as well.
Joep Gouda will be one of the punchers for the win. He has a good acceleration which should provide him some decent results here.
Kristian Hammarling has been brought for stage 4. He might have a very good chance in the sprint that's likely for that stage.
Peter Pal will be the leader here. He is very strong on the flat, but even stronger on the hillier terrain.
Timothy Raue will be domestique here. He is a decent climber, which should come in handy here.
Ásgeirr Silferberg will aim on the time trial once again. He could also help in the sprint train for stage 4.

Stage 2

Weather
Once again very sunny, a bit cloudy, easy wind
We immediately have attacks. The first ones don't come very far though. We also try something with multiple riders, here is an attempt with Timothy on the attack.
This is the first attack that gets space from the pack, so finally we have a break of the day.
Sancho, Schachmann and Squire are the other 3 riders. At the first mountain sprint Squire seizes the points, ahead of Timothy
Squire also wins the intermediate sprint. Timothy comes 3rd.
The pack doesn't seem to work too hard, although the lead is decreasing. Nonetheless the break still has 2min31 with 25kms to go. However, thanks to Boavista working hard the lead is 1min20 with 15kms to go.
We now start the final climb. The lead is still 1min20, so the break has an excellent chance of making it. With 1km to go Squire is in the lead and looking very strong. Timothy looks like he will make it for second.
However, with 200 meters to go the first riders are closing in. Zoidl seems to get victory today!
At the finish
Zoidl wins indeed. Squire 2nd, Raue 3rd. Not bad, I suppose. Our other riders missed the right attack today and lost over a minute.
