Selwink - Well the results once again failed to export Really happens a lot here.
anderspcm - Gilbert will be happy
Jeselyh - It's not the end of the story, since it's only getting started
FreitasPCM - Nothing special just things that happen in cycling
owen10ozzy - Of course this is just a story twist hmm, selling Tom is not a bad idea. Problem is he's not worth much, I reckon |

This is a good idea. I like how it is different from everything else.
Keep it up Ian

Jakstar22 - Thanks a lot, Jak
sutty68 - I hope so, too! The team really has potential, and we're 2nd in the CQ rankings at the moment!
547984 - Nah, he won't be worth anything anyway |

SHATTERED DREAMS - PART II
Hi,
The main holding company Citigroup in America has ensured us it will take up the bill of the wages so we can finish the season without inconvenience. So that's the good news. We can focus on the racing again, and not worry about the money.
However, we're still in need for a replacing sponsor for next season. Because of that insecurity, I think we missed our chance at signing bigger names. Since the plans are all off now, there's no harm in telling you: we were in the middle of negotiations with Colombians Henao and Betancur. The deal's off, unfortunately.
Tomorrow is Liège - Bastonge - Liège. We'll be racing for our very own existence.
Partly our project has already succeeded, but that's all about to crumble in a few months. We're a family now. Everyone was heartbroken by the news. We feel like we all belong together here. Let's hope we can keep the team together at any cost!
See you tomorrow,
- Butler -

LIÈGE - BASTOGNE - LIÈGE
BAM! World Champion Gilbert finishes a strong Ardennes campaign with another victory. He declared this is the happiest day of his life. Not a good time to tell him I slept with his wife, then.
Result
And I still owed you this:
Result - Flèche Wallonne
I wasn't in Liège today as a DS because I was in a meeting, saving the team. I succeeded, sort of.
Here's what's what (for now):
Citigroup America is willing to invest a certain amount of money into this team. This allows us to keep the sponsor, jersey and even license. The budget will be heavily decreased, however, forcing us to let a lot of riders go and probably step out of WT for next season.
However, minor sponsor Cannondale might step up on the budget in the long run, but we can't count on that for next season. In order to have Cannondale as an official secondary sponsor, we would need the rules to change, because Cannondale is already a major WT team. However, that rule might get bent our way not too long in the future.
So practically, what will happen?
1) We finish this season without a problem, participating in all WT events and even the programmed training camps are still a-go. Thanks to Citigroup America
2) Over the next few weeks, a budget for 2014 will be agreed upon. We will try to resign riders depending on that amount. All we know is that it won't be as much as we receive now.
3) Most probably we will start with a smaller team in the PCT league next season.
My first priority will obviously be my 3 talents, Rik Steenacker, Tom Butler and Vincent Beaufort. However, Citigroup America agrees to a Belgian license, but expects a certain amount of American talents to get a shot in our team. They are welcome!

547984 - But it didn't happen team stays riding with a Belgian license
baia - Indeed! Thank you! Glad you like it. I don't really know where all of this is going myself
wogsrus - Thanks! Van Avermaet always comes out to save the day!
Well, not so good news. My computer finally can't take it anymore. After a lot, a lot of years of loyal service, it seems he's taking its final breath. Had a real hard time starting it today, took hours. I'll take a cloud-backup of my save-game every time I've played PCM because on of these days it'll go down.
But until then, I guess I can still play (even though PCM is crashing a lot, too, lately...). Today, however, I won't have any time. Sorry |

That might be the day
However, unfortunately we don't have the budget to get a new computer just yet, it'll be a few months so I'm really hoping this old computer hangs on a few more weeks! |
