I got in trouble at work today for spending too long checking if he had done it.

It's kind of hard to cheer for him to out sprint his team mate though.

The team in it statements and interviews have said they would keep it in the team. Though, saying one thing, and doing another is a possibility, but l doubt they would do that.

This is almost certainly geo restricted but for those UK based the following post stage wrap by the ITV crew had some insightful moments.

There's a little bit of elaboration on the Lotto sprint train confusion plus a snippet of Sagan doing Forest Gump that I found surprisingly funny at around the 10 minute mark (something about Sagan doing an even more stilted version of himself that was amusing - please note I'm not knocking him, he speaks English better than I speak any second language plus he's arguably better on a bike too, it just tickled me).

Impey was the one OGE rider involved in the crash on the climb. Hence why there was a role reversal.

nah, without Goss there was no chance of a stage win, and so no point of them giving the jersey to Impey.

I suspect that if tomorrow and Friday stay together then Impey will get the jersey for Saturday as a reward/good press.

Team also said that they wanted to protect Gerro after they knew Goss wasn't going to make it. Weren't well poisitioned for a sprint either.

Darryl should get it if Goss starts to find his form tomorrow.

Normally, yeah, but I wouldn't be surprised if Gerrans finishes high enough to hang on again/Impey sits up completely.
