Stage no.3
Well, our goal for today is to get yellow jersey. If not, then to stay on podium and to keep -20 seconds, maybe we can get additional seconds tommorow (from Intermediate Sprints)
After great start of Istrian Spring Trophy and awesome 2nd stage, riders had to face with probably biggest challenge at this race. It is decisive day,so, yellow or not -> it is the question.
At the start of the day, solid 4riders breakaway was created, with the clear intention, win this stage from breakaway. Names from breakaway aren't so known but there they are, going from the last to the first one on this pic:
Goncaves, Bugge , Bosman and Hansen.
And,as always, nothing interesting happened in next kilometers, until, group came to 1st hill. It is first hill with MO pass (3) ,also. There, group with 28 riders in it,dropped fastly. All Itera-Katusha squad was there. Also, few favourites for this race, didn't get position before hill and now, their race is over.
47kms to go: Guys just passed biggest hill and intermediate sprint right after it. Small group of riders, actually 6 riders, tried, for not so smart and unknown reason, tried to get clear of the bunch (PCMcommentatory ) while guys at peloton was in full speed, trying to catch breakaway group. Muller , one of the biggest favourites , was riding at the end of that E2 group.
But,that attack didn't last long,and now,officially,again,there is only 1 breakaway group,the morning one.
Guys in breakaway group kept really high pace so it was pretty hard to get them. At 10km banner they had 1'50" and their chances was still big.
4kms to go: After really hard chasing at the front of the group, EPM and Adria Mobil guys succeed in their willness to get first group. Everything is prepared for sprint now!
But no, Baez and Rogina didn't agreed with my decision and they tried to get little advantage before mass sprint.
And they had that advantage almost at the end of the stage. But,guys behind got them and win gone into hands of Huub Duyn. Anything changed in GC?
We will check now.

Quite disappointing, but not bad. Podium is what we came for here and we got it. As already said,we will try to get some seconds at intermediate sprints, tommorow. Thanks for following, see ya!

This story is going on break 'cause my school. I will may play it and come back (as wroblitz) in some next season,or will stay it like this. I would like to hear your thinking and your opinion.
But what's definitely is that i won't write reports for a month (at least). I will save .cdb
See ya!

That's a shame, but it's okay, sometimes it's just necassary

If you want to continue the story later, you should leave it where it is now
You can always make a few reports in the next month, when you have some time, so that you can save the reports for when you continue the story

I would say carry on playing this career from where you are now, but do it only when you have time |

For all of you that loved this story, great news.
We're continuing it,but we will just miss last stage of Istrian Spring Trophy, since i played it already, and kept 3rd position with Rogina. |

Squad
Bruno Maltar
Aljaz Hocevar
Kristjan Fajt
Since this is 1.2 race and there are some Pro Continental teams, our goal is only to finish it,since we don't have many chances for TOP20.
Great day to ride! Our guys felt so,so good on this terrain. Check it out by looking at report!
Few small breakaways got caught by peloton. Vini and Androni thought that this one wasn't dangerous so they let it. Aljaz was with these guys : Weiss , Snook , Beltran.
Pretty boring stage, indeed. 9 laps around San Giussepe, chasing to get first group.
Finally right at 10,7 kms to go, last rider from first group, our Aljaz Hocevar,is finally caught. Fight can start now.
Kristjan Fajt had great position before sprint started. He was on Felline's wheel and he started sprinting. But he wasn't definitely on Felline's level, neither on Chicchi's, but he got superawesome 3rd positiong!
Let's check what Bruno and Aljaz did.
