as I said before, McLaren will do well here and at Montreal. they won't be good anywhere else.
why? because the wheelbase on the ferrari is extremely (stupidly would be a better word) long.
That probably means McLaren will also dominate at Monza. |

I get it for the wheelbase in Monaco (slow track, sharp curves, etc.), but Monza and Montreal are rather fast tracks, with many fast curves, I can't see what a shorter wheelbase brings there ?
Ferrari shortened it on their 2008 car, btw. not enough, obviously. |

no they're not. there aren't any fast turns in Montreal and only the Parabolica and Lesmos in Monza.
But the bigger problem are the gigantic curbs, which you must ride. the Ferrari won't be nearly as good over them. |

There are rumours of Alonso joining Ferrari in 2010 (it would be already signed) or BMW in 2009. That'd be the key to all F1 transfers for next season.
I'd say BMW is more likely, since Massa has a long contract at Ferrari (2012 ?) and the rumour mentioned Raikkonen as partner.
Especially BMW is more likely because Heidfeld sucks at the moment (despite being protected by BMW) and Kubica's contract is ending this year (he could move to Renault).
Vettel would join Red Bull (as Coulthard will retire).
edit : Renault just signed Robert Doornbos, only for exhibition shows at the moment, but it's not like Piquet mustn't get ready to be sacked.

I HATE RAIKONNEN
Sutil rides a really good race and then this idiot who thinks he's gods gift ruins the race. If it had been the other way round, kimi would be ranting and raving at how he costs him championship points!!!!. I hope he gets a grid penalty or a ban and im even more determined to support anyone who beats him!!!!

lol, that's the kind of shit that happens in races, no big deals there. Force India sued Ferrari, I suppose Ferrari will get a fine and have to pay for the money Force India would have gotten from those points. |

Raikonnen didn't do it intentionally. You can't blame him for doing it, the car skidded, there was no way once it did he could have avoided it.

He didn't do it intentionally, but think about how he would have reacted had it been the other way around... |

exactly my point if it was the other way round kimi still would have blamed sutil for ruining his chances and the consequences for Sutil would be severe, so why doesnt kimi get the same treatment, because he belongs to a special group called the untouchables!!!

Call me a chauvinist if you want, but I'm a bit sad for Bourdais yesterday.
When he crashed because of an aquaplanning, he had the best partial time on track and had just overtaken Sutil (who could have finished 4th).
In the meantime Vettel finishes 5th after being absolutely unable to set up his car during the whole week-end, his team finally gave him Bourdais' wet set up.
Oh well, it'll go better next time, unless he's jinxed once again. |

I'm just hoping that it rains on sunday so we get a more exiting race.
Edit: And I'm hoping that Kubica wins..

Hamilton was the fastest in practise today, but Qualifying is in a few hours, so then we'll know who's really liking the track

McLaren, most likely. Monaco and Montreal are the perfects tracks for the McLaren: every turn is snail-slow and the curbs are gigantic. |
