Which team would let him in? I only see Astana as an option. |

Michael Boogerd will definately not ride the Giro di Lombardia.
What a sad way to end his career It sucks big time, same happened to E.Dekker and Wauters at Rabo, had to stop early too.
So, advice: Dont end your career at Rabo, because you'll get injured |

well, Dekker still finished his career at the Curação Amstel Race, so maybe Boogerd can still do the same. maybe.

Also, it's actually theoratically possible for Floyd Landis to participate in Tour de France 2008. As you know, the TdF will not be a part of the Pro Tour next year. It will still be organized by ASO and, most possibly, with the French Cycling Federation. If the French Federation cooperates with ASO, it will be excluded by the UCI (according to McQuaid), and this means that the race will not be a part of UCI in any way. And since Landis' exclusion only counts for UCI-registered races, it's possible for him to take part in the Tour de France next year
ASO wouldnt let his team ride anyway

Di Luca has been cut out from the Pro Tour standings according to a press release from UCI. Evans is the new leader.

Or, well, it would still have been better with a 2 year suspension. |

the amazing thing is Di Luca's quote "this has nothing to do with drugs". really Danilo? what then? did you get frisky with the CONI director's daughter?

Problems with the WC in Varese next year -- the building which was supposed to be the center of goal and finish will not be built. And due to this, UCI might let another city host it.
And some may be interested in reading the next edition of Cycle Sport. Here, Bettini says that he wants McQuaid to leave - he / UCI is damaging the sport, he says. |

Next year, the Worlds in Varese, will be very much harder - Damiano Cunego
hopefully they'll still be in Varese

if that does in fact turn out to be the case, my two hands are still enough to count the number of cases in the history of professional sports where the first is positive and the second is negative...
