My team just can't score  Played 6 games now without scoring. Luckily, Van der Sar is good enough to keep the zero too. |

I just started a 2nd game (and a 3rd game which I call my 'Nations game) with this Romanian team called UTA and played 0-0, 1-0 and then 1-0 and managed to sign Bogdan Stancu who is supposed to be one of the cheaper talents in FMB)
but since this went to another page, how can I get control of youth squads?

You have to get offered the position or wait until the position is vacant, then apply for it. You can't be more than 1 international manager (e.g. can't be the full team coach and U21, it's one or the other)

hehe yea I was planning on keeping Hora even thought Craiova wanted him for 2 million, I got a budget of 2,9 million to spend so thats nice, also got a midfielder from ASEC Abidjan (Ivory Coast) and some players for the depth
@Addy, thanks cos I did know that u could control youth squads at club teams and in previous fms u automatically managed the u21 team

To prove how bad a manager I am I took over the job as manager of Man United. 1 year later, Manchester U. won the Community Shield, lost in the semi-final in the Liga Cup, lost in the 5th round (or something like that) in the FA Cup, lost in the Quarter Final in the Champions League and ended up 3rd in the league.
And you know what? I wasn't fired... |

Thats still a relatively ok season, at least you didn't get dumped out of all competitions dead early.
I managed this in a Hibernian(!) file I had been playing: I won the league and scottish cup in my first year on pure luck alone. The board raised their expectations after I said I wanted a big budget to win the league again and I promptly sent my team spiralling out of all competitions in near enough the first round because my squad was so knackered from playing european games, plus I got whipped in every european game (just about, although I beat Marseille at home) so morale was low, low, low. Its now april, and I sit 6th in the league. I expect the sack any day now! |

I don't think you'll get fired even if you don't win next season...but with Huntelaar, Rooney and Ronaldo (I take it you still have them) you should win at leastsomething...

You sold Ronaldo, bad move
as long as you got way over 30mil for him, it isn't too bad.
Just reaching December in my own game with Kettering (Conference North) I've won every single one of my 18 games, I got Leicester as my parent club and have got loads of players on loan from them. Odhiambo for example has scored 18 in 16, we have only conceded 5 in the 16 matches that Sheehan has played, Porter has 11 assists in 16 games and Andy King is a great playmakerB)
