What are hotel prices like down London, may come down to watch a few events.
I am already thinking of watching some of the Football at Old Trafford on Tuesday
London was basically sold out about 2 years ago |

Then there you are wrong because on the website, tickets or showing for some events and the closing ceremony. They also said more tickets would be available closer to the date of the events when the tickets went on sale. Don't believe set an account up and look for yourself. They want showcase tickets on their that are not available would they!

No they can't even sell tickets
If you want a hotel I would look for one not in London but on a train line to London |

Im thinking of just getting the train down for the TT and going back the same day, it would mean me getting to Hampton Court after 1pm though.

I will be right at the finish or the start of the Olympic TT on Wednesday. The hotel I have booked in is literally round the corner from the finish and start. And on the course itself

Holy hell!!!
This 15-year old Lithuanian girl is destroying everyone in the women 100m breaststroke.
1.05.21 is only 0.04 from the OR. Nobody even knows her. Amazing |

Yeah, it was European Record She broke 9 national records already (okay, Lithuania... no offense ) and won three medals at the youth Olympics last year (one gold). But that...
From my German point of view, it's nice to see that Paul Biedermann is back to a better shape again, at least it seems so, winning his semi final in front of Lochte.

From a Dutch point of view it's sad to see there are currently no dutch male swimmers that can take up the mantle of Van der Hoogenband.
For the females we have a few medal chances, especially Kromowidjojo (for gold 100m free) and perhaps Heemskerk and Veldhuis for bronze/silver if they are lucky. But I don't count on it. Maybe Kromowidjojo again on 50m but again, that's a maybe
Not so much as previous few olympics anyway. |

She'll break the OR tomorrow.
Speaking of young swimmers, yesterday's winner at the 400 medley for women is 16, broke the WR, and finished faster than Lochte on the final 50 meters. Pretty impressive. |

Well, you never know. She could be fourteen as well
Anyway, next world record for van der Burgh (SAF) in 100m breaststroke.
