Wow, Reus finishing 4th in Paris - Nice. You're already getting better results than in your Movistar-story!
Well done.

It went very good for us, it´s one result we never imagined at the start...

Thanks... but we didn´t do better then Movistar (my old story)...at the old one, Rojas got points, Perez got kom and Valverde got 3rd overall...ohh, and team rankings too.
Note:
Get prepared to Tirreno-Adriatico where P.Velits will make his UnitedHealthCare debut...

Thank you Ian and Mresuperstar..
STAGE 1
It´s already 3rd climb... C.Barton is 1st on top.... 4´16"gap to peloton..
70kms... back to peloton.. Katusha, BMC and Astana make the pace... 5´58"gap... 63kph wind...
The breakaway with 9 riders is reaching 1st Int.sprint...
2nd Int.sprint.... 4´00"gap with 41kms to go...
Behind them, there is movement coming from the pack... M.Finetto attacks with 39kms to ride...
Right after, P.Gilbert and A.Kolobnev attack too...
24kms... breakaway is caught but O.Chuzhda still tries to go away... T.Voeckler comes behind...
.. but all those attacks went nowhere... on last kms, many delayed riders were causing some troubles to the pack but A.Kolobnev took the chance and wins this somehow crazy stage..

That is a bit of a pity for Velits but with that low fitness I'm not too surprised. Hopefully you can do something in the sprints.

Already lost 3'00 with Velits, too bad.
I wonder if you can make up for that time in the mountains.
And if not, you could always go for stage win, as they'll let you go more easily. |
