Nibali clearly the strongest. But Horner will indeed fancy his chances with the TT

Interesting to see Nocentini back on top. Brilliant riding from him two days in a row now.
Horner should have the overall pretty much wrapped up, unless Nibali pulls off the time trial of his life. It's gonna be nice to watch for sure!

Hoogerland refinding his climbing legs of 2009. Finally.
Cameron Meyer suprised me very much by only finishing 1'28 behind |

Vacansoleil would seem to have been on a PCM style training camp in the off season and boosted their riders stats quite a bit.
Horner played that very cool as well. Evans taking a very different approach to the season this year it seems than in the last few - bit of a pity I think, unless he's sick. |

This x1000. I want the Cuddles who raced always for the win back. Me is not liking this 'Schleckized' version.

Could he be aiming for Tour-Worlds like Gilbert, cause then he would have a decent reason not to be strong this early.

He could be though I suspect Gerrans will be the leader for Australia, particularly with the form he seems to be in this year.
I think that Evans was fighting for the win but didn't have the form. He put in a big effort the day before at least.

No, Evans crashed on the descent of the 2nd last climb and never came back.

i told ya evans is boring, last year was a positive exception.
and why everybody sees this as nibali vs. Horner battle, kreuziger is also good at short tt,you cant simply rule him out when he is 5 sec. back...

Yeah, I've read it now. He still seems to be lacking form though, although I guess the World explain it.

Depends of what you mean by boring. For me, a rider who always rides to win isn't boring, regardless of his style. Of course, riders like Contador in the mountains or Boonen or Canc in the cobbles make for exciting racing, while riders like Evans or Wiggins aren't as spectacular, but honestly can't blame them for it, just as I don't blame Cavendish for not attacking in the flat stages.

Boasson Hagen not starting the stage today Seems like the most of the Sky team has been having problems as of late.

Fair point, i just mix it sometimes with the fact that his style is burning my eyes, but as you said, he cant change his dispositions, hopefully he will not turn into "i care about Tour only" type.
Today Sagan is the favourite for me, but dont know if he will nor rest himself a bit, or set Nibali for some time gain (however Sagan seems sometimes lacking the will to work for someone else, especially Nibbles ).

This is so true. Evans' climbing style must be the ugliest in decades.
For today, I don't think the circuit is hard enough for the GC guys, unless it's raced insanely hard. Sagan FTW.

This finish looks tailor-made for Sagan. Would surprise me if anyone beats him.

I hope so
Edit: Maybe Freire could do something there?

Edit:But he must chase himself...

Sagan is working for Nibali, if it comes down to a sprint then, I'll fancy Gatto more than any other. |
