Heh It was perfect, with time you'll probably create even better trains than you did at HTC Choosing train for Tour is a tricky though with that amount of choice And the Cavendish comes to play as well. EBH would do well as main sprinter, but we unfortunately have Cav Usually Qatar sucks and Oman is much better. You proved it yet again Now let's get podium with Siutsou in Algarve
P.S. Sorry for over-extensive use of smilies ;P

WHOOOOO That's the real Sky Sprint-train Perfect in Oman only a pitty that you couldn't snap the GC
Thanks Maybe we would have won the overall, when Boasson Hagen would have been the main leader on the mountain stage. Now we´ve got a 2-3, which is also amazing. |

Let´s use some more of them.
Well, thanks again for your kind words. You´re right, we´ve got a big sprinter problem! What a happy problem. Surely Cavendish is the one for France but Boasson Hagen might be the best leadout choice then. With Flecha as a decent puncheur and one more good sprinter. We´ll see, it will be a difficult choice for sure.
Yes, Siutsou might be ready for the podium, let´s see tomorrow evening after a long day of work. |

for the Tour, I think you have to go with Cavendish. In my mind he is the king of sprinting!

Thanks all for the great support. I have a lot of fun at the moment and a big motivation.
There only 3 weeks to work, before I go to school for 4 weeks, which brings much more time for Team Sky .
I´m going to post the last stage of Algarve in a few moments! |

The decisive last time trial is the last challenge for Siutsou after some good days for him and his team. We want to defend his great overall position. Tony Martin is the big favourite for the stage and of course he will keep his yellow jersey.
Bradley Wiggins was just improving his shape a big these days and the last stage brought him a nice result. He was the first in the pack with a very good time so far. 27´26
A great effort came by Ruben Plaza. His time was completely smashing at this moment. Even Wiggins´ time was destroyed clearly by the Spaniard. 26´54
David Millar was on fire, too. This course was just brilliant for the British man, so it was no surprise, that he was setting a new provisional best time, when he finally crossed the finish line. 26´27
For some reason, there was no screenshot of Siutsou taken, I´m sorry for that! His time was by the way a great one. He took the third place for the moment behind Millar and Plaza. 27´12 Unfortunately, we lost too much seconds to Millar and Plaza, so they were passing him in the overall. Kiryienka was the next after Siutsou with a great time. We had a little hope, that he was maybe loosing some seconds today for the second overall position, but he didn´t! He even got the better time, getting between Plaza and Siutsou in the end. 26´59
It was again the day of the German. Tony Martin was riding a great race with his leader´s jersey. He crossed the line with an amazing time, which brought him the second stage and the overall success. 26´14

Thanks baia, glad you liked it
I´m very happy to continue with the first cobblestone classic of the season for our team. It´s one of our best terrain, as we´ve got a great squad for that. Juan Antonio is leading the team not only today, but also in every big one day classic on cobblestones later on. It´s more than a big test today, because almost everyone of those favourites for the big titles is participating. Tom Boonen, Fabian Cancellara, Thor Hushovd, Heinrich Haussler, Juan Antonio Flecha, Langeveld, Ballan, Breschel, Nuyens, Steegmans, Chavanel, Vansummeren and many more!
This is almost the strongest squad, we could send today. Except Boasson Hagen and Stannard, there is every rider with some skills on cobblestone. Of course it´s Flecha, leading the team but just to note. Hayman is the one, with the best shape so far. Eisel and Geraint Thomas are going to support their captain as good as possible. I´m looking forward to this race not only because of the great competition, but especially because of our great team squad.
In the beginning, there might be a nice chance for some escapes. We hope to see Jeremy Hunt there, too. In this case, the pace in the pack would be up to them.
The real racing starts with 60 kilometres left from the finish. The cobblestone sections become more and they will be definitely harder with a good pace by the helpers. If there´s a bigger group in the end with Boonen, Hushovd, Haussler and some other good sprinters, we might have no chance today. Because of that, our tactic must be a smashing attack before the last 5 kilometres. Let´s start the sprint classics with this wonderful race in Belgium! |
