Epic win for both Carrara and Alarcon. Hard to say Alarcon stole it he rode a fantastic last two stages really, after carelessness on an earlier stage.
What a superb Tachira this has been!

Great way to win his home race, on the very last day. Great start for the team.
But I have to say, I feel sorry for Mresuperstar, that would have been truly deserved if Rodas had taken it. |

And thanks for brilliant reporting SN, all reports have simply been a great read.
And it has been a great Tachira for us, 5 stage wins, 2 second places, and all jerseys. A huge morale boost for the guys!

Brilliant stage, and what an end to such a thrilling race. Great reporting SN.
I have to be happy to walk away with a stage victory and the 2nd place in the Points jersey.

Lloret secures 5th place thats ok I think
And Rohan Dennis is a loanee from Festina, too bad there isn't a point for this

Congrats ember to the victory! Great job with the report too, SN.
Also very happy with Niemiec's performance. Why didn't he perform like this in the mountains?

Alarcon and Rodas would have deserved it both. Now the better one won.
Or did Alarcon just played games with his opponents? In the end he was dominating every ranking. What a performance!!!
Great reports SN, also for us that don`t participate it was very thrilling.
Am I dead last now in the CT ranking? Or anybody else with still 0 points? |

Clean sweep for Alarcon in every classification. He was just too strong in the end for Rodas.

I am waiting eagerly for the standings now. Disappointed that the team didn't win the team GC, but they really tried so I guess I should be happy...

Rankings.
Teams
Unsurprisingly, Aker are clear leaders after the Alarcon display. Bianchi, Vespa and WWE have scored in all 3 races to date, while CSC move into a strong 5th.
1 | Aker Solutions - Bergans | 469 | 2 | Team Bianchi | 282 | 3 | Vespa - Aprilia - De Rosa | 265 | 4 | Team WWE | 237 | 5 | Team CSC-Orbea | 221 | 6 | Rapha Condor - Qhubeka | 196 | 7 | VolksWagen - Siemens | 185 | 8 | Hollister Pro Cycling | 177 | 9 | Emu Export | 176 | 10 | California Giant Berry Farms-Specialized | 131 | 11 | Jayco - Red Bull | 115 | 12 | Pirelli - Alfa Romeo | 107 | 13 | Team Puma - SAP | 103 | 14 | Pokerstars.com | 100 | 15 | Cerne | 93 | 16 | Team Bpost | 83 | 17 | Cyclevox | 70 | 18 | Oz Cycling Project | 61 | 19 | Ferrari - ERG | 50 | 20 | T.CS Bank - OJSC Rosneft | 43 | 21 | Team Trilux - Falke | 26 | 22 | Saab-Scania | 11 | 23 | Meiji - Fuji | 7 | 24 | Koppert Cycling Team | 5 |

Note, these include Stage 1 of the TDU, but that doesnt stop Alarcon leading them. Winning every single jersey, plus 2 stages, is a surefire way to a lot of points. Rodas, Castano, Ratiy and Nazaret all make the Top 10.

Hey the better man won, even though it kills me to lose it on the last stage. Rodas has truly made his presents known here at CSC.
