Not even half as interesting as RvV or PR....
Then don't wait TdF..enyoy Giro. Your boring meter should end a season there.
I was wondering..where Taaramäe ended. He was stuck behind Fränk when he crashed. Just stay away from Fränk

So anyone wanna throw their hands down on a top 10?
I'm reckoning:
1. Gilbert (is anyone stronger atm?)
2. Cunego (most consistant performer over the past few years)
3. F. Schleck
4. Gesink
5. Vinokourov
6. Hesjedal
7. S.Sanchez
8. Ivanov
9. J.Rodriguez
10. Hermans
Well, I got one right at least!
Gilbert! Whoo.
And I picked a surprise for most with Hermans, did I not? I do manage to pick out a few good youngsters now and again, perhaps due to trawling results to see who's doing well in races.
I managed to pick all of 4/10 top 10 riders. I call that a definate success. Honest.

He might have not finished. CQ published first 112 riders and he is not in it. Sagan failed today, 104 i think, what happened ?

As some have said, not the most interesting of races. Shame no one went with Andy.
Amazing show of power from Gilbert in the closing kilometers. Might have been interesting if Rodriguez had waited for someone else to try and make a move.
As for Frank Schleck, he needs some of these.

Whilst we're on Gilbert, a fairly interesting point he's brought up himself.
His breakout year was in 2009, and yes, he changed teams, but this was also the year the Blood Passport was introduced, which he's heavily insinuated as a part of the reason he broke out in 2009.

Hesjedal for the triple crown
Not at all. I have a strange feeling he's not focusing in the classics, and someone like Martin, Le Mevel, Stetina or Vande Velde will be the leaders.
Hesjedal probably wont get a top 5 in any of the 3 classics.
I beg your pardon?

So ahhh where was Hesjedal?
According to cyclingnews he finished in 141th. |

I quite like Gilbert actually, for always having that strong stance against doping, and doing "logical" and human (super strong, but looking like humanly possible) performances.
I believe him, although some of his main opponents wouldn't even be that strong without doping. |

I think Gilbert will be able to hold the pressure and defend his win.
1. Philippe Gilbert
2. Andreas Klöden
3. Giovanni Visconti
4. Damiano Cunego
5. Fabian Cancellara
6. Marco Marcato
7. Andy Schleck
8. Robert Gesink
9. JoaquÃm RodrÃguez
10. Fränk Schleck
I got Gilbert right at least.
Apparently, I was stupid enough bet Klöden as second when he is not even participating. I'm disappointed at myself.
I had expected much more from Cunego, but I guess the investigations has affected him.
If Andy wouldn't have attacked so early, I'm sure he would have finished at least in the top 5.
I'm not satisfied with 3/10 of the top 10.

I think 3 out of 10 is good for someone who chose Kloden to finish second. |

I can't believe I got a prediction right. I wans't difficult to predict that Gilbert would win, but still. Now that I've got 1 right predictions in a row I'll say that Contador will win in Huy this Wednesday.
You heard it here first, guys. |

If you still wondering why he lost so much time...
but stomach problems wrecked his race, even causing him to stop and use the toilet in a house along the race route
Preety unlucky....

Well at least he finished the race. 14 minutes behind, but he didn't abandon. I think he'll have success in the next 2 classics now that he fell off the radar |

What I don't understand is why almost no one decided to do anything until Cauberg. Schleck tried, Kolobnev also made an attack, but other than that, it was almost too easy for Gilbert.
Gilbert was under pressure by Schleck's attack and had to do some of the relaying himself. Imagine if a few more riders had attacked with Schleck... |

all classics have something common..they look more and more as races against main favorite. |

"Gilbert is the favourite, we'll mark him. It's important that we don't let him drop us, either now, either later in the race. Then we'll see what happens."
Then all that group of riders gets to the bottom of the last hill with Gilbert. Mission accomplished. And Gilbert whacks them. And they don't understand why...
Either they're retards (which is likely), either they're cowards (that's possible too), either "no one told me to attack" (how very likely is this ?).
Unless they were glad to simply be able to follow, but I'm not really buying that. |

For some reason i think, that Andy's role today should have originally been Cancellara's.
