Were al managers able to download their new Specialized helmets? cio reported some problems with the download so I hope the others haven't.
If there won't be much new request for helmets I think I'll start making some bikes next week. Are all bikes allowed to make since some teams already claimed some bike manufacturers names?

The answer to that is - it depends.
If the team is a title sponsor and the other team wanting to use the frame is 'similar' then I believe the idea is to ask the manager with the team. For eg. I vetoed Venchi using De Rosa frames, but would have no problem with some random team from another country with a different focus using them. |

I will be extremely annoyed if any other team using Focus as a bike supplier (after I'd already written the team name) were to use the Milram Focus bike from 2009. Or a blue Focus frame. I would probably throw a wobbly. Other than that, I have no problem with other teams using Focus, even though it's highly unrealistic considering they're the sole (main) sponsor of my team. |

Didn't know that. Do you have any problems with me using Focus bikes as well?
Don''t think you can call it unrealistic. Trek is a main sponsor of Trek - Leopard but RadioShack uses Trek as wel.
I can make you some blue Focus frames BTW.

EDIT: Just to make it clear, I'm using the Milram Focus frame from 2009.

Boogie: I have decided to use KenL's Trek frames for the RedBull thing he designed. So no need for those Scott ones I previously requested. Thanks anyways.

Teams can't use the same [name] sponsors. It's a matter of respecting someone's choice (especially if they were before you, or an older team). So if one team is named Cervelo Test Team, for example, or Team Bianchi, it'd be wise to check that the managers of those teams would be ok with you using the same bike make. If they're not, it'll be you that has to back down.
I think it was the same last year with Tom-Tom or some sponsor appearing twice on new team kits. One of the teams (the one that appeared later) had to change sponsorship. |

@Boogie- KenL will be making my team frames because I felt you were doing lots of work and I assumed you'd get lots of requests, and he's also doing accessories for me.
I would prefer if no one else uses Fuji Bikes, but I wont tell you no. Its just I assume it wont be the most popular frame, so I kinda made a goal assuming we'd be the only team using Fuji.

I dont think I ever got round to requesting any helmets.
I believe Rapha Condor wont need them, as there might be equipment already made for the real DBs.
But for Vesuvio-Accumalux
Id like Giro helmets.
Looking at the pic in the first post, Im thinking if you give the White and Blue parts, the main red colour on the Vesuvio jersey.
And then the red parts on the template, if they get the more orangey red that I have on the shoulders and parts of the shorts.
