The fact that you call him Edward rather than Ted suggests that you havent heard of him full stop, except the fact that he rides for your precious Thor's team

Serbia's official line-up:
Elite:
IVAN STEVIC RR
Zsolt Der RR
Esad Hasanovic RR & TT
Jovan Zekavica U23 RR
If offense is the best defence, does it mean that defence is the worst defence?

I think he never got suspended, the italian federation wanted a lifetime ban, but I think that never happen. But I'm not 100% sure about it. |

I always ask that too. He should be, but apparently, he has appealed some decisions made by CONI and is therefore still able to ride. Should be banned soonish, though. |

Ted it Theodor, indeed, but it't also short for Edward.

Hmmm, the AFL Grand Final (Australian Rules Football, our national sport) has just been played over here, and it's ended in a draw.
Now instead of playing extra time to decide the winner, they will have to come back next Saturday to play it out again.
I imagine it could have quite a big impact on the WC, as next week the city's attention will be turned to the footy for one more week. Could result in a fairly low crowd on Saturday for the Women's RR. |

^ oh yeah..... 100k more people turning out for the grand final
meanwhile... for the australian's, the telecast begins at 9am (for the eastern states) on One (rather than SBS which shows the TDF and Vuelta) |

Okay that's a bit weird. Who has One got doing the commentary? |

I think what's more important than a slightly lower crowd turning up is that the event will recieve a lot less publicity in Melbourne. |

Or is that simply an attempt at a mind game?

As he hasn't withdrawn he clearly still has some hope. That said, I can't see Gilbert being pulled back if he attacks in the last few km.

He wouldnt be withdrawn, even if he did reckon that actually there was little to no hope
