For the first time in 27 years, there won't be any Colombian rider starting the Tour de France in Rotterdam on July 3rd. It leaves South America with no representative in the race. |

WTF
Editor of Bicycling Bill Strickland tweets Radioshack's Tour invite has been revoked.
Wait, what?
That can't be.
EDIT: To reinforce. No way.

Still just a rumour. He also says:
" I did say "rumor," not "information." My guess is no way they're out. Among other reasons, TdF wouldn't give up American audience. Right? "

He almost contradicts himself, though, by saying "Sources are good".
There's no way this is happening unless in the extremely unlikely chance that AFLD did manage to get something from the DNA testing on the needles found at the Tour last year.

If the American audience is that fickle, they won't be missed

Latest from A Schleck
"If you must know I have four options for next year: staying with Bjarne, Kim and Brian's new team and two others that I can't discuss. But right now I'm a Saxo Bank rider and the most important thing is the Tour de France and where I finish come the end of the race."
Sounds like he hasnt made up his mind yet

Trust me, A) 99.9% of them are, and B) The other .1% of us won't miss them either. |

Bollocks, you lads are just buggered that we just started paying attention to futbol. This is all a conspiracy by the UCI and FIFA to keep the Yankees out of the super bowl.

I decided that supporting Saxo, Astana or Radioshack isn't any fun, so I'm going all out this year with Rabobank. I think my predictions are obvious (Menchov for the yellow, Gesink for the white and Freire for green).
My top 5:
1. Menchov
2. Contador
3. Kloden
4. Gesink
5. Andy Schleck |

Menchov to win the tour.. you're crazy
Gesink to win white, also crazy. Kloden to crack top 3.
I give up, thats an insane prediction

I'm sure some Brits were annoyed by Jon Stewart's constant teasing of England |

Just because he did the whole Giro and needed vacation, and because Liquigas doesn't need 3 leaders.
At least that seems to me the best explanation.

Yes but is a little bit strange for me, Basso was in a lot better form in Giro, which also was a lot more tired at the end. Nibali came only in substitution of Pellizoti.. which made me think that he will be one of the leaders for the Tour.
Maybe they reserve him for winning the Vuelta, seen that Nibali against Contador is not enough. |

Every team did the preview of the cobble stages the past days.
From what I've seen on the dutch news. Gesink at least passes the cobbles easy. Only Lars Boom followed with a smile.
Menchov had much much more troubles with the cobbles... |
