It puzzles me. A 4 year ban. Thats not a lifetime. And they shortened it to 4 years so he can ride again. After calling it a lifetime ban.

It's like going to jail for life, but leaving on parole after 4 years for good behavior, if I got it right. but what's the point anyway, he said in 2008 that he won't ride his bike with the pros ever again.

He was given the additional lifetime ban, but because he cooperated, this was reduced to 4 years

Acording to Astanafans Kascheckin has signed a two-year contract with Lampre.
- We have information that the employment of Andrew's Lampre took place at your direct participation ...
- Yes. After our meeting with the head of the International Cycling Union (UCI) Pat McQuade in late October last year, where he confirmed that the cache after serving a suspension may speak for any level of professional team Pro Tour, I began looking for employment options for Andrew. As a result Kashechkin signed a two-year contract with Lampre. For his new team Kashechkin able to speak a few days at the Tour of Slovenia. Chances of his appearance at the Tour de France 2010, "but if the leadership of Lampre not dare to include it in part, that's for sure Andrew will be competing in the last three Grand Tours - Spain's Vuelta in September.

Kim Kirchen was in a coma last night in hosptial after suffering from breathing problems, NOT A HEART ATTACK LIKE FIRST THOUGHT.
He is awake now luckily and will have tests, could be a problem with an operation in April.
Get well soon..

Appearantly it is worse than the newspaper said this morning. He had an heart attack and must have been reanimated. Now he is in induced coma. There are no exact prognosis yet.
Wish him all the best. |

If I were a DS, and knew that blood doping increases the possibility of heart attack, my natural reaction when one of my riders got a heart attack would be to cover it up as something else.

Do you have any source on that? Other sites still say that it's not confirmed it was an heart attack.

It was in German television on German Eurosport homepage and other sites.
https://www.radspo..._63547.htm Try to translate it with google. Should be understandable. Churches means Kirchen, if you translate with google. Stupid translation of his name.^^

Specialized has extended its sponsorship with Riis Cycling, so it now runs to the end of 2011.
... so I guess there's also a team in 2011 |

Armstrong says he's not publishing his blood values to "show he's clean" this year. No reason given.
I can't blame him, after last year's values so blatantly screamed "transfusion"
