I can.
Cancellara will never win LBL. Neither will Contadope. |

If that doesn't say enough for you, what will?
He beat him by a few seconds after 3 weeks. Or you're saying Cancellara has a stage racer recovery or you're completely forgeting about it.

Or perhaps also the fact that Cancellara is unlikely to be peaking for the Tour de France - and certainly not the last week of the Tour

And that the time trial had a big climb

Cancellara lost 35 minutes to Contador the stage before in order to be 100 % ready for that time trial.
Contador had best time in all time checks, after the climb and before the climb.

The people at the back are suffering just as much as the people at the front. and people don't get how important recovery is.
let me give you chris boardman as an example. always rode incredibly well in the dauphhine (including a 2nd overall) but always failed in the tour because he couldn't continue to perform over such a long period of time

Or, Cancellara last 35 minutes the stage before, because the stage before was the race's Queen mountain stage?

Yes he was the second last to finish that stage. Worse than all the sprinters. |

hondo has a point - a good rider always sprints for 113th

You'd never have seen Merckx not sprinting for such a prestigious position as 113th - apparently there was a spot prize on that stage last year, and the rider he came there (Matteo Tosatto for anyone interested) won a cuddly Le Tour Lion - I'm sure that takes the prime position on the Tosatto mantlepiece

About Breschel, first they gave him O'Gradys bike, so he had to change his bike twice during the race.

Yeah, he was pretty pissed about it.
And he's right to. I mean, is it that hard for a mechanic to remember which bike is where on the car? He's getting paid for that after all... |

Well the problem was that there was no mechanic in the car so DS Torsten Schmidt had to do the bikechange and failed pretty bad. The mechanic was in another car taking a shortcut with fabians bike. |

Especially when having Cancellara's bike change in mind
But hopefully, he'll ride well in P - R as well.. I just don't think the race suits him that well.. |

A delayed reaction on yesterday, why did Euskatel get so much TV time in the early parts of the transmission anyway?

After watching the RvV, I have only one thing to say: FABIAN CANCELLARA, EMPEROR OF THE UNIVERSE! /bow.
And, yes, Boasson Hagen is second in command. |

I think the Boasson Hagen fans really believe he would be up there with Boonen and Cancellara |

Because the belgians ain't stupid, they knew that they wouldn't be able to catch them on camera later in the race

Watch out for Rollin in the next year or two in the cobbled classics. 3rd at Schelderprijs last year, and he took 42nd on sunday after having to wait for Thor, and with the 7 and a half hour slog in a rainstorm in the 08 Amgen Tour, he has proven he can withstand the grind of the races.
I repeat, watch out for him. |
