Another cyclist death. The Italian junior time trial champion, Anthony Orsani, was killed after colliding head on with a car |

Liquigas' Gianni da Ros gets a 20 year suspension. No, that's not a typo.

Why 20 years? They could just give him a life-long ban. There's not much difference for Da Ros, his cycling career is over anyway. |

How can one get a ban of 20 years? Wasn't this his first offence? If so, I guess he'll appeal to CAS and get away with 2 years. |

I think dope users who supply others have even got a lifetime ban for first offence.

He wasn't using dope, he was using and dealing it as part of an organized ring. To not just pros but random people on the street and in gyms

He still can come back with 43 years. Given that Eeckhout will ride for two more years, why not? |

I'm surprised to see Beppu's name here, as he still had a contract for 2010 with Skil - Shimano. And according to Iwan Spekenbrink, they never had any contact with Team Radioshack about a possible transfer.

Beppu is a strong domestique, but I am surprised they picked up Li again. Didn't ever seem to do anything. |

Could, but it won't.
It's the first time that a non cyclist name is released in a Spanish investigation though. And a big one.
Anyway, when I read Murcia, and a former Kelme doctor as the runner of the doping circle, I just can't avoid to think in the owner of the cycling's most famous dog. |

UCI now wants a bank guarantee from Astana of 15 million € - and it will have to be "paid" today, UCI says. Otherwise, wave bye bye to the UCI Pro Tour license.
