Vuelta Ciclista al Pais Vasco
Stage 6
Oiartzun - Oiartzun
Last ITT..this time it is quite hilly..should be good for Predictor-Lotto riders.
Roesems - this time I even have reaon to talk about Predictor and TT. Roesems coming faster when I was expected...this is good sign. When he crosses the line he takes a lead for a moment..Finaly (28th. +42)
Next intresting rider we have is Cornu..he is even fater then Roesems and takes a stage lead..(22. +36)
Nibali plasts best time at the irst time check, but he cant keep this pace thrue the end (42. +52sec.)
Vandevelde is next rider wich I should follow..even with Cornu at the first time check ..finaly (24. +38sec.)
Astana go-leader Kasetshkin (29. +45sec.)
Verbrughe as always been dangerous at this season TT races (11. +25sec.)
Valverde has chosen this year strange race plan..he has ride so many races..but he is clearly out of form. Caisse should make something to happend..they have been terrible at this season (16. +33sec.)
Shumacher..I have to admit that this Adriatico superstar has been slower when I was expected (10. +21sec.)
Millar (2. +4sec.)..he had a lead long time. Almost in race last minut he was pushed to second place.
Voigt..he's name has been visible in several stages at this tour. He has been capacity to be also team leader..but CSC stong material are placed him for important helper status (6. +14sec.)
Colom has been learly Astana best rider on this tour..today stage also isn't exeption (5. +13sec.)
Kirhen (9. +20sec.)
Sanchez Gonzales takes today's win..little comfort for yesterday fall..and lost tour win. Little onfort for him is tour 2nd. place and stil strong UCI individual ranks lead.
Fränk Schleck takes 4th. +9sec. today..this is more then enough to take GC win. I was to exited and forget to take Chris Horner last stage shot..he was 3.rd today +8sec. and also 3rd. in final GC.
This tour is over now..I a glad to say that this was succesful trip...all team was just super 5 riders inside top 30 and 2.nd in team classification after super strong CSC. Exelent work. Jufre 13th. (exelent)..out of form Evans 17th. (all coming has planned)

Next stop:
Wim van Huffel
Mario Aerts
Matthew Lloyd
Pieter Mertens
Preben van Hecke
Dries Devenyns
Nick Gates
Tom Steels
van Huffel should play our leader role..also decided to send some good sprint power ..Tom Steels - who dont has find a rythm in cobble section and decided to give him a chanche in america..no Robaix for him in this year.
Some news after Pais Vasco:
Karpets is injured after he's crash in stage 5. Don't have any news when big russian can return..another hard hit for Caisse terrible season.

Stage 1
Peachtree City - Macon
Looking for startlist...I was panic when I noticed that I dont have any rider to but in captain position..there is only Tinkoff team wich have Hamilton and Petrov..Jose Gobo First stage sprint..Steels come on..
Mertens helps Steels to find a nice place in Helat net train.
Mertens job is done.Steels sprints 900m. to go O'Bee is only threat today.
Vandborg is down...this is gonna affect for Disco team plans.
Here they come last corner..Steels gonna win today. This was nice move to bring him in Georgia race.

This is will be fun..my favorite classic. Riders wich I should afraid are Flecha, Cancellara, Pozzato; Hincapie ,Burghardt...I didnt find again Boonen and Steegmans in the start list ..both of them have been in terrible form also lately..Quickstep plays for van Petegem. Strange spring and tatics what they have... not my busines after all.
We have terrible weather..as should be in Roubaix race..there is lot of crashes and problems with wheels..de Vocht falls two times..first time he makes back to the peloton second is enough.
(sry. about small pic.)CSC moves in front and things are starting to happened...Cancellara is working hard with Michaelsen...they want to play chanches for O'Grady today...there was almost 2/3 of the race realy low pace.
40 km. mark Fleha atacks..Hoste is ready,Pozzato follows, Hncapie..O'grady. This doesent work..group comes back together thanks to Klier and Burghardt short and hard relay.
This is un expected..Cancellara has done he's work he cant follow after Fleha breakaway atempt Hoste form is good..as he is without any helpers, he still feels great today and first time I see he's morale so high (+5).
Who we have left in main group Barredo;van Petegem (Quickstep); Bakstedt; Paolini and Pippo (Liquigas), Burghardt ,Klier, Hammond (T-mobile)..also Neyens, Flecha, Hincapie, Hoste, O'Grady and Ballan..(elite).
Fleha has tryed to breakaway several time..but seems to me this is it for him..he is to tyred.
Hoste is always 2nd. or 3rd. on the group..and ready for possible atack. If someone dont atack soon..and before last short cobble section..he has to do something himself..because he dont have chanche to sprint against O'Grady, Ballan, Hincapie; Hammond and Pippo.
12km. to go..Hoste launches sort atack..and get 20m. gap..and he sets high tempo...
All best forces in the group to anything to chase him down..Flecha in front again..how much this man can do...looking good looking realy good. Hoste has no problem today just ride away..perfect race...and form.
He comes in velodrom almost 1min. is time between chasers...I'm more then pleased I dont expect more from Hoste (ofcorse if he win more then its also fine by me)...one of the go-leaders are done well on he's season.
Team Liquigas crossed a line..they have been just great Liquigas rider in 2;3 and 5th.

Boonen has been big question mark for month for now...when he has been in line up, then is form has been terrible..injury? has been cause for that..realy dont know..all quickstep has been clearly week when I thought they will be.

Its time to look Cya toptour standings after Paris-Roubaix..
Pippo and Paolini are pushed Horner after Roubaix 5th. position. Hoste also thanks to win has climbed at 23. to 6th. Leukemans in 16th. Sanchez Gonzales still is good lead...I think Giro is next big event to change this table.
3rd. spot so far..exelent. There in minimum chanches to get in top position..Look at the end of table Caisse (4points)..damn. So in the future I expect to Duval get's some strong points..also why not Discovery. Quickstep season is almost over..now they move only down.Eukaltel also dont be in that good position soon..how long Sanchez Gonzalez can do all the work. Rabobank to low..T-mobile also should be much better after april situation.
