one of the biggest towns in Romania
Probably the most important thing in the center of the town is Michael the Brave's monument. He is the first man that united all the 3 Romania principalities (Wallachia, Moldavia and Transylvania)

Nominally my hometown, this is what the main shopping district looks like (a block from the bike shop I work at):
However, for all intents in purposes (I do go to school in it), this might as well be my hometown, as the town I live in is a suburb of it:

Novi Sad, Serbia
The main square with a view of The Name of Mary (catholic) Church:
The main square, this time with a view from the opposite side. From left to right: City Hall, Apolo commercial center (the one with the reiffeisen cube on the roof), City Museum, and the Bank of Novi Sad:
Panoramic view of Novi Sad from the Petrovaradin Citadel at sunset:
In front is the Raid Victims Monument in honour of the 1300 people that were thrown under the Danube Ice in the winter of 1942. Across the river is the Petrovaradin Citadel, one of the largest and most beautiful fortresses in this part of Europe, one of greatest landmarks of Novi Sad, and the home of EXIT music festival.
