And mainly because the Tour starts in The Netherlands. I think it's safe to say a second Dutch team will be invited next to Rabobank, and then Vacansoleil does have the best chances for that.

I'm not sure I'd describe this team as a powerhouse just yet. |

17 teams of ProTour (probably Astana or Fuji won't be invited again) + RadioShack, Cervelo, Sky, Vacansoleil/Skil + 1 French Continental team? BMC has only chance - have super-success spring..

22 teams in TdF with ASO is quite unsure, as we've seen during the past years

BMC won't go to the tour because they don't want to, they've stated they want to do the Giro or Vuelta, and then the Tour the next year.

Fuji will probably be cut in two teams Fuji (for spain) and Servetto (for italia), so I don't think they will be PT next year. |

I highly doubt that BMC would go to the tour even if they wanted to. I can see them getting a Protour license, but with Ballan and Hincape they are obviously gearing themselves toward classics. And the French will never justify bringing an American classics squad to the Tour.

And I'm pretty sure that Astana will be invited as long as Contador is there. |

I dunno, he was on the team in 08 and they didn't get invited. With Vino back they may decide not to let them compete.

I caould see Vino and Astana at the tour next year because when Astana were chucked out of the 07 tour because of doping Cofidis left for the same reason but again the only reason they got invited back the year after is because there French. Which is unfair French or not they shouldn't of been invited in 2008. |
