1 Daniele Bennati La Gazzetta dello Sport 3h34'34
2 Leonardo Bertagnolli Wiggle Pro Cycling Team s.t.
3 Damiano Cunego La Gazzetta dello Sport s.t.
4 Riccardo Ricco White Bear - Wild Horse s.t.
5 Sergio Marinangeli La Gazzetta dello Sport s.t.
6 Franco Pellizotti Accumalux-Huez s.t.
7 Danilo Di Luca La Gazzetta dello Sport s.t.
Woah, dangerous!
We havent even properly started, and my team is already preforming way beyond my expectations, which were (as we all know) already quite high to begin with.
Amazing. KUTG guys! |

Klemme and Kruijswijk in the white jersey the first two days. I'm more than content with our opening to this race.

Once Pozzovivo has won the Giro, you won't be as happy as you are now |

Nothing as expected here. Looking forward to the tougher stages to see what condition Contador is in. Also Ardila, who seemed pretty good today. |

You made a mistake in the report, SN, saying Vastaranta was leading Boonen, while he was obviously leading Ballan. So I changed it
Other then that, the awesomeness continues. Good to see Franco wasn't able to take any bonifications as Marinangeli does a superb job again, glad I brought him here. Cunego doing good as well, staying up front all the time.
Now, let the domination continue in the mountains! (Hopefully )
At this rate I figure I'll be in the provisional PT lead by about stage 5 - 6 |

Well, not bad... Seeing as how I don't have any decent TT'ers on the team, only losing 1 min wasn't to bad and a 3rd place by Ballan. Grrrrrreeeaat.

Obviously the winning couldnt continue, so I'm satisfied with this. Cunego seemed to have an off day, but with di Luca up front as well everything is perfect so far. |

Considering that Rujano is wasting energy fighting for KoM points, I'll be happy if he can get a Top-10 place.

Sella shows that he came for a fight with Cunego. I hope he wins in the end but i doubt it. Even though, a win is a win, i'm happy now

Hacecky 39th
Well couldn't expect anything better, and my very slight hope of a Top 20 seems to be utopia. Here's to stage win(s)

Contador should've been up with the favorites, but the italian national bonus seems to be in the way.
Ardila surprisingly good performance giving me 7th and 10th in the GC... |

Just Happy Cunego closed the gap just enough for the jersey!
Good he dropped Sella. Ricco and Pozzovivo shouldnt be too much of threats later on anyway
So far for the epic Cunego - Sella duel already?
About di Luca, well, had know this... hopes he goes for a stage at some point |

Pellizotti currently 5th in GC, I dont think he will get any higher so hopefully he will be able to hold on to 5th. My main hope is that he manages a stage win though

Good ride from Lovkvist. Would be very pleased if he somehow manages to take the young rider jersey.
I'd be a little worried about how these mountain stages are going if I was Cunego. |

Iglinski
Thats the sponsor goal of a Stage win achieved, Iglinski really riding well so far this season.
And again great aggressive riding from Pellizotti, twice an attack after a KoM has left him in the lead until the final kilometre - 3rd time lucky? Regardless, the time gained on these hilly stages will be very valuable if he is to make Top 5. He gained time on all of his rivals, bar Karpets, on Stage 6. (I dont see Cunego as a rival, he is far too consistent and seems on for yet another Giro win so far)

Ardila tried on the hilly stage but wasn't strong enough. Contador lost some valuable time and is now in 8th place. I hope he can gain som soon to reach top 6... Ardila is doing very good so far. KUTGW |
