If Iglinski can get into the Top 20 GC now that would complete an already good race for him

2 scenario's for us.
1) The race isn't too hard, Samuel Sanchez can keep up and hopefully doing top 6.
2) The race is REALLY tough meaning riders like Rogers will drop easily. Samuel Sanchez won't be able to keep up, but Castaño will raise 6-7 places.
Atleast those are the scenario's which I want to think about |

good for Coppel considering the hill, and Spilak is decently positioned now for a top 10.
If you compare him to Rogers, he didnt do to good. Coppel: 74 hill, 83 TT. Rogers: 71 hill, 85 TT. Then 20 seconds is kinda large, but maybe Rogers just had an amazing day |

I still cant complain with 6th in GC for Rogers. Now to hope the fav's will wait with their attacks in tomorrows stage long enough to prevent big time differences |

A shame that Dekker didn't take the stage win - but other than that, great performance. |

Good to see Gomez Marchante and Mancebo both take the day off and let Kloden do all the riding. |

I happy with the stage win from Solis, but what the #$% is Cobo doing 10 minutes back. |

10th and 12th GC. Decent but not great. Hopefully Samuel Sánchez can gain a minute on some of the top 10 riders in the next stage, hence giving me something like 7th and 11th instead. Hopes are still high |

Well, it's worse then that: They started chasing at the point Iglinski first attacked
I guess because Kloden was your best men in GC after the TT's |

I figured that was what happened with Marchante. Nearly 5 minutes behind Dekker's overdoing it though. Not as though Eurosport needs points.
What should have happened was two guys with 78 in MO, should have set up Marchante 81 in MO to get Eurosport some points.
Maybe next time.

That's the problem that arises when you overload a squad No clear leader. |

Exactly. Be very aware that your captain will overshine your helpers... In case your helper is a much stronger TT'er you should be very careful to use him in the same race. Normally I only have one rider who can battle for the overall and then my next rider is something like 74-75 climb...
Only when I have a rider like Contador do I dare put in Iban Mayo or Mauricio Ardila also.
I have went for 2 riders here because they would probably end up around the same spot both of them. Now they're 10th and 12th and hopefully Sammy can improve a little bit, but this is probably also one of the only races in which I have done so.
I would never put Castaño, Samuel Sánchez in as helpers for eg. Contador. |

I think the only race I've overloaded in is the Vuelta. And that's because I want a podium in it, which is so unlikely I might as well throw lots of guys at it
Otherwise, it's guys like Phinney who get to lead my squad. It was nice to see him attack last stage, but then to fade quite so much isn't quite as nice |

Riders like Phinney, Boom and Niemiec has been important this season so far...
Last year they would've been worthless as the AI didn't fancy their hilly stats enough to try something... |
