I have a few question and I'd appreciate the help.
I'm trying to edit my riders contracts to save my game from being ruined. I tried hannes editor and everything seemed to work okay. Only problem was that when I loaded up my game every rider I had edited had fallen terribly in average skiil. In excample Sastre was now a 71 rider. I don't think any skills had actually fallen, only the AVR, but I'm worried changes has happened that will have an effect on the game.. ?
Afterwards I tried hannes converter and this time, though I pressed save after every change and saved the files to a new db to be sure it worked, when I loaded the game none of my changes were there.
PS! I do not understand german |

You don't have to understand german to use the converter. But when creating the DB you have to select the tables you want to write to the db (the same way as you selected the tables you want to edit). |

Thanks, Lachie! That did the trick. I didn't know I had to use the "convert to access"-thing. Cheers! |

??? You don't have to convert to access. But if it is working now, who cares... |

Is it possible to change budget in a save game, because with small team is easy to get overdrawn in first month? |

Hi all, I'm playing PCM 2009
I used the advanced editor to give me some extra cash but after that the game just skips all the races! no winners no blah...
Has anyone encountered the same problem?
I've got the same problem with Hannes as well..

It is possible to achieve something like that but not if you only modify the money in DYN_team. So what exactly did you do? |

Strange. I hope you have a backup of your save. |

You might be able to fix it by adjusting the fkIDstage_current in GAM_config. You have to find the stage ID in STA_stage which corresponds to gene_i_date (GAM_config.gene_i_date <--> STA_stage.gene_i_computed_date ) |

Nope didn't work.
The game was saved after the Aussie Champs so changing the dates took me back there, but it still skipped all the races after that (Tour of Qatar, etc.), which my team was entered for. My riders just ended up training all month!
And though it's now Feb, the savegame status has 'Australian Championships' though the race is long gone...
Baffling eh? |

realized something:
merely putting the file thru the advanced editor screws it up, even if i export and import it back without making any changes.
and after that other previously working versions are screwed up too.
version incompatibility, maybe? i'm using 1.0.3.3 |

I did not tell you to change the dates. You have to fix the current stage. But what can I say, if you do not backup your saves, then you don't care about your career, so just start another and don't mess with it.... |
