The difference is easy to spot, too. I'll bet whatever amount that if we put the Tour of Morocco running on a TV in front of you, you'll go watch something else, because there won't be any riders or teams you support racing. I'll watch and I'll be just as engrossed as watching a Tour de France stage. Probably a lot more, considering the Tour tends to be extremely boring compared to most races.
That's actually right what you said here
Thank you for being respectful and not launching into an angry non-rational tirade like many people would

Absolutely gutted one of my favourite riders absolute hero. And if you think there are no drugs you cycling you are seriously mistake. Look where he was on gc and he looked like he was suffering. Anyway he won the tour down under years back with ag2r if i remember right anyway the next positive will take a few weeks as it takes time to analyse them. I guess 2-3weeks |

Again, I introduce the Alex Sanchez Corollary. Alex Sanchez was a professional baseball player who was the first player suspended under baseball's new steroids policy in 2005. Steroids (primarily HGH) had always been associated with hitting home runs in baseball. In his career Sanchez had hit, count them, four home runs.....
Basically what I am saying is that just because a rider doesn't do what drugs normally are said to do doesn't mean they aren't using them. |

Official statement by the team (paraphrased, obviously)
Mikel is innocent because our internal controls detected nothing, blah blah blah, we'll stand by him all the way, blah blah blah, B sample. blah
"our internal controls". right. as if.
Thanks to the internal controls of the team, Landaluze was not selected for the Tour. He tested on EPO during the Tour...
The team suspended him before the UCI found something. After the UCI announced that Landaluze used EPO, Euskaltel reacted with a press message saying Landaluze was officially suspended for the team as well.

Except Landaluze tested positive at the Dauphiné and again out of competition after the Dauphiné
Plus the team only suspended him after being informed of the positive by the UCI. Plus he wasn't at the Tour because he hurt his wrist.

He tested positive only after Euskaltel already made the decision to not select Landaluze for the upcoming races (besides the Tour he also was not selected for the nationals and for the Vuelta of Madrid). And his wrist... well yeah that's what they said maybe but after the UCI suspended him it came clear the team did as well.
Here, look at the official announcement of the team following the suspension of Landaluze by the UCI:

I don't believe them for one second. This is the team that in 2005 said they'd prosecute him for doping...until they realized there was a chance they could get him off on a technicality so they immediately changed their speech to "we'll support him till the ends of the earth"
