Doesn't look like the gap will be big enough at the base of the climb. That's too bad. |

Watching today's stage in Portuguese on my computer (only feed I could find). Have only heard the name "Armstrong" once. Something must be wrong with my sound. |

I think Flecha will match any move on the climb, so they have both a late attack and a bunch sprint covered. |

If it's eurosport, it's because the moron's pronounciation is so horrible you can't understand it.
If it is indeed eurosport, be very very VERY happy you can't understand the language. The room temperature IQ of the commentators (french guest commentator excepted) is painful to listen to. |

Can Columbia drive up Cav on the climb? Cause I bet you that if they do Freire will be missing his last chance. |

I'll be shocked. Would have to be a very pedestrian pace. If it was that slow I wouldn't be suprised if Cervelo upped the pace a tad just to shake him and make certain for Thor. |

The norwegian expert commentator Johan Kaggestad(father of Mads Kaggestad) just slammed LeMonds VO2 theory.
And he isn't the only one. |

Well, it's just a theory. Until someone actually has some hard numbers on Contador's ride and the results of some tests LeMond can only talk about Contador and possible doping, just as we do on this forum... |

If Sammy Sanchez was here and had been quiet the entire tour, what would you have put his odds at in the betting for the stage, I would have gone with 0.5:1 |

It feels weird to see Cavendish still there. But there is no way Rabobank and Cervelo won't try hard to drop him.

Cancellara is also good on downhills I think (Monaco Prologue, or yesterday's downhill in the TT) but the climb is too hard for him I think

I hate those exagerated profiles. In the profile it looks like a wall, but when you see it for real it is not that inclined at all.
