The Cyanide forum is just the template for this game. The limit here is 4 forum riders per team on a first come first in basis.

Sorry but you're going to have to be Irish in this. Not sure if it was true and is still true, but there was a rumor that F/E a French rider gets/got a boost in stats in a French race. So if all teams and riders have a default nationality that will side step that, If the urban legend is just that then you can pick what nationality you want. |

Yeah i admit it would be more fun/better to play it in career mode, but then f/e say someone wants to be a northern classics rider and puts most of their updates in that stat, with a full DB that person's team may enter RVV and/or P-R but may not pick that rider. If you know of a way that i could work round that then I'm more than willing to give it ago in a full on career mode.
you can use editor like advanced editor, Hanes editor to force a team to pick some rider and to modify stats like we want it. I don't see any problem to make it in carrer mode

if you do it in carrer mode, we will have to choose nationality, beacause I'm not sure that irish national team have enough room for evrybody (world championnship)

Well if it was played in single race mode, the Worlds both RR and TT would have a selected course from a stage race or classic for example in season 1 the World ITT would use the 60km course from the Giro and the RR would be the Paris-Tours course, then in season 2 the ITT would be a ITT that's over 40km long and the RR would/could use L-B-L. but the point of that is for the race you'd use the 8 man DB and therefore race for Saxo Bnak/Rabobank or whatever team you rode for that season. |

Well yes I could use the tools to edit the programmes of riders, but just say for example Denmark gets 9 spots for the RR and there's 13 Danish riders in the DB and all want to ride the RR, how would i pick which ones would compete?
Lets just say f/e you're Danish and the course is a hilly one and you're the best hilly rider in the DB and I'm the 2nd best hilly rider what's not stopping me from not picking you in that race even though you're at your form peak? I know the single race version will not be as good as a career mode version, but this way everyone gets to ride all the races that are used in the season. |

But it our riders have around 60 in all stats and the others have their 'normal' stats, then we would be ass-kicked. |

For the 1st season you can only add 5 points, in the 2nd season you'll be able to subtract a point from a stat.
I'm not sure it's a good idea, the rider will look more realistic if they have a speciality. My rider, for example, his a climber, but compared to the coble specialist, he was not so bad, compared to the sprinter, he was not so bad whit 60 in sprint and 60 acc compared to 65 and 64 in sprint and to 60 acc.
Also, I think that 5 is not enough point, we will not be asskiked by the Ai rider, but they will beat us again and again for at least two season. I sugest to have 7-9 point instead of 5.

I disagree. Vizhigoth's original game was amazing. This is the same way he did it and it worked out well. Plus I assume that real riders will have lowered stats.
