Damn, Big George riding into yellow. Also, Big Jens has a right to get pissed at the mavic technician. That was the worst wheel change i've ever seen...
EDIT: the "damn" is for the surprise, Hincapie is one of my favorite riders, and I'd love to see him take yellow.

Worst? That's not enough to describe how sucky he was/is. I mean ... a technician who can't do a simple wheel change. It took him ~45 seconds, and when he was done, it turned out that it was attached wrongly, and Voigt had to stop and return to the peloton.
Time for a new job, perhaps? |

Someone was killed in an accident involving the police motorbike at the start of todays stage
This is certainly sad news, RIP to whoever it was.

The woman that died, tried crossing the road just after the first group passed,
she got hit by a policemen on a motorcycle.
Bit hard to say but, why do people always try crossing the roads in such events. I myself went to p-r and rvv several times and im still flabbergasted by how stupid people can be, trying to cross the roads just infront of cars, cyclists ...
Imo its there own fault if they actually do get hit ... |

I don't get Columbia's tactics. The breakaway riders won't kill themselves to give him the yellow; they'll just try to be away from the peloton and that's all. And a breakaway winning doesn't do any good to Cavendish's hopes to get the green.

I hoped for a sprint, a train in action is exciting.
This, borning.
The commentators are talking about verbier and trying to make it exciting

I do actually prefer a small group sprint than a bunch sprint. If the group is small you see early attacks and counterattacks. Bunch sprints, this year, are too predictable.
EDIT: Damn it! I tried to scroll down the breakaway with the mouse wheel!

Why would roche work? All he'd do is help put Hincapie in Yellow.

The secret code of cyclists, say that if you sit in a breakaway without doing work you don't attack and/or sprint for the win.
