I would really like this game to take a big turn towards being more of a manager game than it is now.
My suggestions:
Real Time Cycling: The races are at x1 going on in real time. Then of course there would be x2, x4, x8 etc.
During a race: You sit in the car and watch the race on a tv, while communicating with your riders, with other sports directors and perhaps an assistant telling you about different things: wind, etc.
Tactics: Pre-race tactics before the race which are ofcourse changeable during the race, but are very important.
Mental stats: Very important i think. Some riders crack because of mistakes, some get disheartened, some are very mentally strong (Armstong), some are very professional (sastre) etc etc.
Less knowledge of the riders physical skills, and their strength. Tests, training and races gives you an idea of their level.
Focus should be on a very realistic AI. |

You should post the suggestions in the cyanide forum. Nobody from cyanide will read it here. |

I would like to see: the stage winner being surrounded by people when he crosses the finish line. ( I know this will be really hard to do).

The Cyanide people do read this forum, but yeah, you're supposed to post it at the Cyanide forum, as stated in the 1st post. |

please please please sort out the downhill finish bug, any stage that ends with a downhill in the last 10km is easy to win! improve the A.I, make them chase me down, Tours are won (especially the smaller Spanish tours) because of this "bug". |

Until then, why not just stop attacking on downhill sections? |

The thread on the Cyanide forum seems to be locked, so I'll post here.
1) Prioritize gameplay. I've read the suggestions and moans that people have and only about 5% are about the graphics. Most of us seem to be happy with the graphics. 10% are about tech difficulties - I've had less than I expected. 35% of suggestions are about in-race issues, and 50% are about the season mode. Most of your customers don't care about the track mode either (and it won't get you many new buyers).
2) Include every region of the world in scouting choices. This ought to be very simple to achieve. FIFA have 6 continental bodies for football. PCM should have regions that correspond to those not included already (i.e Africa, 'The Rest of Europe', S.America outside whichever countries are already included, Central America and the Caribbean etc). You could either have a * system suggesting how likely it is that a region will produce a talented rider or just leave it to the player to work out that Oman probably won't produce any top cyclists soon. A simple random number generator could determine which country any scouted cyclists came from in the region. An easily editable database of names could be included in any format to make it more realistic. It is stupid that 'Central' European scouting is limited to Poland, Czech Rep and Slovenia for example. Are bicycles illegal in Serbia, for example?
3) Make it possible to lose your main sponsor or gain a new better sponsor. This happens all the time in real life. You already use 100 fantasy sponsors for secondary sponsorship if there is a problem with licensing. You could easily incorporate those logos you already have into new shirt designs. The jersey specialists on PCMdaily would probably create some for a 'thank you' in the credits.
4) There are far too few long-term injuries. In my last career game, at the beginning of the Tour de France, I noticed that every rider in the entire game would be fit for the Vuelta in 2 months time. Unrealistic.
5) Is there a manual save function. I set up my riders fitness regimes individually, and it takes about 4 hours for a big team. I'd like to be able to save during that but can't.
2, 4 & 5 should be very easy to fix. 3 is harder. Remember 1. No-one is going to stop buying PCM because the graphics haven't improved. After PCM3 (which was not good), I stopped for three years.
PS (6): Teams' registered country are pretty irrelevant. In what way does Astana's registration in Luxembourg matter? Playing as a Brit, I got the choice of GBR or LUX, when what I wanted was KAZ. It should be your real team nationality that matters. |

I agree, it will be a great thing if cyanide do that. But you can edit your save game and change by youself the main sponsor.

Manual save function, how much time did I have hope for that?

I think it's a good idea, but I think that cyanide use the "official" nationality beacause it's in the obligation that they have beetween UCI, remember that they pay for use the real name.

It's never too late for suggestions - either way, they can always be used for PCM11. |

In fact, there is a "manual" save function.
1. Go back to the main menu
2. Alt + Tab
3. Copy the save (Ctrl + C / Ctrl + V / you don't even need to rename it)
4. Continue to play
Takes about 20 sec. |

Why bother with licenses?
It costs more (alot I guess), but they still don't get all of them. Not even close. Thus real name dbs are needed anyway. Spend that money on other things instead. |
