maybe Nicolas Roche can surprise a little and take a top 5 ? and like someother I think Haussler can do a god job if it´s a sprint. |

Im hoping for a finish similar to Stage 1 of the Tour last year, with plenty of attacking all the way up to the line |

Pozzato, Freire, Haussler and Hushovd are my favorites if it's a a sprint-like finish.
Otherwise riders like Ivanov, Vogondy, Wegmann, Kirchen, Pineau, Flecha etc. could be dangerous. Both in early breaks and in late accelerations. |

Devolder is such a huge ass. After months of saying he's trained hard on the high mountains and his goal is a podium spot, now (after screwing up the first TT) he says he didn't especially prepare for the Tour and his goal is to win a stage in the third week.
So, besides being arrogant, he's also a liar. Learn something new every day. |

On an interview on Eurosport Freire said he would be aiming for the sprint today rather then the sprint on stage 5. He said the uphill finish would give him an advantage. Didnt sound like he believed it that much though. |

I'm with Ad
would be cool to see Ciolek winning. he's been one of the few sprinters to have shown the desire to beat Cav!
Go Ciolek

Vaugrenard will attack in the bottom of the hill, and no one does anything at all. The peloton passes him at last, but just the to best sprinters, Ciolek and Hushovd.
Result list:
1. Hushovd <3
2. Ciolek
3. Vaugrenard <3
Anyway, I think the top ten will be a mix of top ten from last years two first stages, mainly the second.
Look at this (result from Saint Brieuc):
1. HUSHOVD Thor
2. KIRCHEN Kim
3. CIOLEK Gerald
4. HUNTER Robert
5. ZABEL Erik
27. Cavendish Mark
Something similar? Replace and Hunter with Freire and Bennati.

The steepness of the Barcelona stage is much more similar to Plumelec than Saint Brieuc |

Hushovd is a much stronger rider this year, as we saw in the classics... He has been riding hills much better this year than earlier.
I still think that Kirchen will win though... |

I'm gonna go with a weird guess. Bradley Wiggins. . He says he thinks he can finish the TDF in the top 15 and maybe even in top 10. He says he'll prove it on stage 6.

I think that if it's gonnna be a sprint, then will Caisse' Jose Joaquin do wery well... I expect him to make a top 10... yesterday he did very well and surprised me, so i'll look for him..
