Columbia will not chase. Interview with Hincapie he said that the reason why in stage 3 they split the peloton was because they were angry no one else was helping. I think the peloton learned their lesson.

What they say, and what they do are 2 different things.
Cavendish will want the stage win, if there's a slight chance of winning, Columbia will take it.

If Columbia doesn't want to chase the only rival team at the moment is Cervelo and i'm not so sure if Cervelo will chase the break. My bet is a break with strong riders like Voigt, Voeckler, Roy and possibly also Tony Martin, now he's out of the GC. |

again Bastille Day will be circled.
Also, just seeing your list. Martin - You really think he'll be allowed in a sucessful break?

I cant see voigt going tbh as saxo will keep him behind just incase anything happens with one of the schlecks. I think someone like cofidis should put a pauriol or moinard in the break. Hope someone who can climb half decent and will be interesting to see if anyone chases. I think in all truth you will have a rider from skill, agritubel, cofidis, fdjeux and ag2r in the break aswell as a milram/euskaltel rider. |

Voigt is a better climber that Cancellara. If goes into the breakaway and he's the best placed rider Saxo won't chase because if their succesfull Voigt will have yellow. |

If Saxo chased as hard as they did to keep Cance in the jersey up until the TTT, I can't see them giving it up before the mountains. But I could be way off base there. |

too soon for an early breakaway as the sprinting field is so strong.
Cavendish hattrick is scheduled for tomorrow...

I'm sure people said the same in 2004 when a certain french took the jersey About the bastillie day that doddy mentioned I think it will be a sprint because it's a flat stage and it's right after a rest day so everybody will be "fresh" and the sprinters will be hungry after the mountains

Today the big teams tired themselves out. Therefore, I expect surprises tomorrow. |

True, true we'll just have to wait and see.
And like Jens Voigt said about the radios "it's like riding without a helmet or wthout brakes" *facepalm*

And riding with radios is like riding without a brain, all the thinking is done for you.

break, break and one more time break!!!
1) CSC are tired to work on 100% 1st half of stage and after TTT gaps are bigger, and they can just control the breakaway and let them hold 3-5 minutes lead.
2)Columbia cant work 3 days in a row
3)Others sprinter teams might be afraid of Cavendish, because they can catch the break and Cavendish still will win.
I think other sprinter teams chances will be after first mountain stages, because Cavendish will be very tired after muntains. |

Jens won't go tommorow. In fact none of the big names. Tommorow we will see some "class B" french sprinters going in a breakaway ... guys like Dumolin or better yet Feillu.
And HTC will pull them back 10km before end. And then Thor will win B) ...

Jens might go to make it so that the rest of Saxo Bank doesn't have to chase. That said I'm looking for Voeckler to do something |
