and Piepoli isn't the best downhiller ask anyone in the world who knows stuff about cycling, Savoldelli is by far the best downhiller in the sport

Piepoli may well be the best downhill rider with Il Falco,
and YOU are kidding, right?
I mean seriously...the man has no technique on the downhill, plus he is light, which is a huge disavantage.
the only ones who can come close to Savoldelli are Landis and Pereiro. those two are really amazing on a descent.
Heitmann wrote:
but he has a long way up to the best mountain riders in the world: " Rasmussen(The Best), Evans, Levi, Contador, Evans and Sastre."
Evans is so good, you named him twice
completely disagree on Rasmussen "the best", but that whole list is definitely the right one

i'm sorry but it is a fact that Piepoli is the best in the world, his performances in the mountains are superb did you not watch this years Giro, or any other races he's been in
sorry, that is far from being a fact. he is the best simply going uphill. but not the best in mountain stages. he has no endurance worth talking about.
as for "Savoldelli being the best" (your next post), Landis is pretty damn close.

that is the point i was trying to make that Piepoli is the best going up the mountains, that is how the whole disagreement started
in the db the guy had Piepoli as 81MO and Rasmussen as 83MO so i said that Piepoli was the best rider at going up Mountains and then that Heitman guy started saying that Rasmu was the best

and I'm telling you that just one stat means very little
tell us the STA, RES, REC, FTR, ACC and TT stats and we can offer some opinion on his in-game climbing |

I didn't literally mean you should post them
I was just making a point about comparing just one stat being completely wrong.
considering how close the stats are, Rasmussen will own especially the longer stages (stamina). which is as it should be, I reckon.
Piepoli will have a chance on shorter ones.
also, if the slope is over 7% Piepoli will get a slight boost due to his higher acceleration.
but that really has to be a one-off stage, because with the different recovery stats, Chicken will be miles ahead of Leonardo after just a week of a Grand Tour.
in this case, the problems DO come down to the Mountain stat. but that's just because the rest of the stats are pretty decent

sorry if it came across that way. it's hard to come across correctly with just words on a board. that's what smilleys are for
unfortunately there is a huge lack of variety of them on this board |

A little overrated maybe, why he drove such a great time trial, was defintly because he had the yellow jersey.
But i might be wrong.

if you give anyone under 70 for TT the AI will ignore that guy for GC. that guy will either go for the KOM or more likely work for an inferior guy.
this is why you have to give him, Simoni, etc. at least 70 |
