The Kazakh Cycling Federation has announced plans to restructure Team Astana, removing Johan Bruyneel and Lance Armstrong, and starting over with Kazakh and Spanish riders, based around Alberto Contador and Alexandre Vinokourov. The new structure should be in place by September |

read something like that on L'Equipe.fr.
Personnaly I don't really care about suspicious teams, and their problems.
I prefer to focus on the race.

For some strange reason i have always been a fan of Kashechkin, but he is like Vino his pet dog, so he will just follow him where ever he goes.

So, what bikes will Astana be riding next year, they have a habit of following Bruyneel.
Bye bye Astana.

Well, there's probably not a lot of question about if Lance and Contador will be riding for each other at the Tour now
..not that there ever really was... |

There's one rider that Astana can't bring back and that is Antonio Colom, looks like a life ban for him for a second positive drugs test. Shame I really like Colom. |

The crazy thing is if Astana next year will be based around Contador and Vino, whithout Bruyneel it will look exactly like:
2006 Astana Team, and we all know what happened there
The kazach's are shady |

I think Contador is the most dangerous rider atm. He is a ticking bomb waiting to go off.
Doping test's from 2007 is going to bust him. M.Rasmussen and Contador is doping heads nr. 1 from le grand tour 2007. |

I don't think Contador can win without Brunyeel.

Astana will be shitty. Johann has made them good. I agree with you Levi, Vino will want to be the team leader, so what will Alberto do. He won't want a doper to lead in front of him.
Khazaks need to stop trying to win a Tour, they wont. |

Apparently Noval said this.
"This year, the atmosphere in the team is really bad,” Noval told a Spanish radio station on Friday. “It’s bad because of Johan Bruyneel, because he hasn’t known how to manage the team. He’s lost control of the relationship between Alberto and Lance and with the rest of the riders… If there are clans in the team it’s his fault. He knows that, as well, because I’ve said it to his face.” |

Main problem of Bru is that he will not get any contract of Pro tour team, cause dont forget that Bru is not welcome in many countries. Conta and Vino will share season - Vino Giro and Vuelta, Konta - Tour de France. In two years Vino will become sport manager. |

Astana was fine before Bruyneel (current team is "ugly" unnatural)....and before they started to fail in dope test's

Hopefully the team will implode due to this.
They clearly all hate each others' guts. It'll be interesting to see what happens when it's time to defend one of them as leader.
Or what happens when one of them attacks and the others have no idea what to do.
