yeah but you will also increase your rider stats since you have a few days before the first mountain stage so the equipment won't be really that important
Have you played it? It's very hard to make MO more than 81 if you want him to have some good TT, too. I think before first mountain stage it's possible to get about 79....I think it's very big difference between 79 and 84 thanks to equipment
EDIT: When will the final version start?
I've played in both 4th and 5th betas. In 4th I used equipment, while in the 5th I didn't. In the 4th I had only 2 or 3 2nd places while in the 5th beta I got 6 stage wins...

I won my beta (only played the 5th one - didn't know about the others) for both individual and team (IggyPopsters).
However - I don't think I would have done without some early mountain breakaways and some cyans - but then I guess that offsets the fact that I just accepted my team without doing any re-rolls (I didn't really understand them at that point).
It's great fun - but I think the skill planner is pretty essential. |

The game starts tomorrow. Why would you be able to sign up now? |

When you say the game starts tomorrow (July 1st), I understand that means we can start signing up then. What about the simulation of stages? Will that begin the day after signing up?
In other words, if I sign up on July 1st, will Stage 1 for me be simulated on July 2nd?
Thanks. |

Yes. However, there's three tutorial races before the 'actual' stages begin.
And just to clarify: If you sign up later, e.g., on July 5th, you'll still play three tutorial races, then stage 1, 2, 3, etc. It doesn't matter when you sign up. |

That's too bad. I was looking forward to this today.
Do you know what time zone they are running it off of? Will it be live US eastern time, or maybe French? Also would it go live at midnight?
Thanks |
