The game is crashing after every race, except if i simulate them.
any idea?
Edit: After inserting expansionpackbeta3, all of the words in the menu dissapeared - is it possible to use parts of the expansion pack? like some of the equipment and the realname ?

We are, as said, aware of the problem. There's no fix, and we suggest using a different DB if you want to get started with a serious career. |

uhm, after reinstalling the game all of the writing and pictures etc. is still gone.
Edit: The reinstall was clean without any of the expansions/db's.
do anyone have a solution? |

this is probably a noob question but, i get an access denied message from winzip whenever i try to extract the files into the pcm 2009 program files.

Joachim: Did you delete all the files?
You have the possibility to reset PCM2009 without having to uninstall it:
If you have Windows XP:
1. Open My Computer then your (C  local disk.
2. Open Documents and Settings folder.
3. Open your username folder.
4. Open Application Data folder (*)
5. Delete Pro Cycling Manager 2009 folder.
6. Open My Documents.
7. Delete Pro Cycling Manager 2009 folder.
8. Run Pro Cycling Manager 2009.
(*) Note that on some Windows systems the application data folder is hidden by default.
Here is how to make it visible:
Click Tools, Folder Options then View tab.
Check Show hidden files and folders.
Click OK.
If you have Windows Vista:

3. Open your username folder.
4. Open AppData folder (*)
5. Delete Pro Cycling Manager 2009 folder.
6. Open Computer then Documents.

You might have to turn of User Account Control. I had the same problem and that worked for me. |

I didn't get this bug during my first two simulated seasons. In the third one, however, I experienced it. It's like the June and March bug from PCM08, and I tend to believe that it's happening due to the race date changes, etc.
So, attached to this post is a new database file which is basically the STA_race from the Real Name DB, but with the added races included too. This means no deleted races and no race date changes.
I don't know if this fixes the problem (you have to start a new career), but it's worth a shot.
For the same reason, it's not recommended to start doing serious career with the Expansion Pack yet. Wait for the non-beta coming one of the coming days.
Thanks for your help in finding a temporary solution to this. I'll be waiting for the full release of the cdb until then. Thanks Crue

with what do you edit this database? i want to change the date in the game config table to 01.06.2009 this always worked on previous bugged db so it will on this. But unfortunatly i don't have a editor for this game version.
i would really like to continue my game cuz i just won the giro and had hell of a lot of trouble to reach my other goals.
