But isint this a smaller Live Arcade game? Not a "full" game on a dvd?
Absolutely. Just the Tour de France at the moment, but I just wondered if the achievements would be cheap and you'd have to re-play and win loads of stages
The idea of dlc is fantastic, could all be spoiled by microsoft's minimum pricing policy for dlc though. Don't fancy shelling out 400 points or more for a few more stages (if it were to happen, ever.). Guessing the game will probably be 1200 ms points initially anyway!
@Deadpool: There are some arcade games that get released on disc, but usually as promotional items (given away with console) or only in certain regions. They are sold as part of a collection, but tend to be retro 'classics' or simple arcade games that have sold well. I don't see it ever making it to disc, therefore. |

Idea for DLC:
1 - La Vuelta + Worlds + Paris-Tours
2 - Tour of Qatar, Paris-Nice, Roubaix, Ronde Van Vlaanderen (if a license can be gained), Amstel Gold (as with Vlaanderen), Liege, Fleche.
That way 200 points can be justified at least. (Other games have stuff for 80 )

This is great news, I've always loved playing PCM but had given up on it on my PC due to the bugginess of the game, so I've always wanted an XBOX version. Hopefully if this sells well there might be the motivation for a full version at some point in the future... |

Cyanide said that they won't communicate any details about the game just yet. |

I have played the demo version of the game
You play the stage from Barcelona to Andorra-Arcalis
You can choose your team you would like to play (of the PT teams)
I´ve played it twice, once I took Saxo Bank and then Astana
You can choose (like at the PSP version) 5 riders
To rate the graphics... I think thats enough for a 800 points game, but I nevermind the graphics because I want to play
The handling of the game is very fine, I thought it´s very difficult to play that one (like strategy games) on a console but I like that
If you would like to attack you press A, then a bar comes up and will fill, you have to press A again to stop the "filling" of the bar
Sprinting is that you have to tap like an idiot on A as fast as you can, but the rider will tire, so I would wait a while with sprinting, you can just sprint with your selected rider, the others won´t sprint but therefore I would take 99% effort for the other riders so they won´t loose that much
With B you choose what your rider will do, following is just hang out in the peloton, then relaying and as a last option just set the effort (dot)
With the front back buttons, you can choose every rider in the peloton, with the other back buttons you choose your riders
With Y you will have a look at the stats (which are bars in the game) of the riders or you can take a better look on the stage profile
With start you can also set the fast forward option (x1, x2 or x4)
It seems that it´s the PSP version on the XBOX 360, but with of course better graphics
For the results, it seems that the peloton is very close together because once Cunego won in a breakaway, with Moncoutie and Basso , and the other result was that Evons (Evans) won also with a attack with Menchov 2nd and Valverde in 3rd place

From your description, it sounds very much like the PSP game. |

I truly suck at this game. Took on the Monaco TT with cancellara and came 20th. It all went wrong in the final section of corners!

I havn't played the TT yet, but I know the PSP TT's are impossible, I'll get 1st on every time check until the last one when I drop to somehting godawful like 14th (with Fabu ).
I played today's stage and won with Jens Voigt . Too bad stats can't be changed.
Split-screen should be really fun, as will online. Btw, my gamertag is ic3creamtester. |

Most definately. I owned the original release of pcm on the psp, but my technique has all but gone. Playing on normal, and done 5 TT's and one flat stage, no results except for a 2nd place for Cav on the flat stage. I suck! |

I just tried it, I can't do TT at all, and the way it is, is annoying. Flat stages however is really easy. I won all of them with the same rider because for some reason when I go full out the other guys don't ever pass me they just stay beside me and I win. It was on normal though so I suppose it's harder on Difficult. It may be intresting to try to win overall because after the first 2 TTs (yeah the TTT is a ITT) I'm 4 minutes behind with all my GC candidates. At least I have something to waste my time on for a few days. |

Now that I've played it some more I realized I can easily win minutes by attacking and going max effort about 50-40 kilometers from the finish with one of my GC contenders. I'm winning all the jerseys this time. Then I'm gonna go play Difficult, and see what I can do. I wonder if I can ever win a TT. |
