Vuelta invites to be decided this month. LPR very likely to be invited.
Di Luca and Petacchi have presented LPR management with an ultimatum: either they're guaranteed until June 15th that the team will contest all major races next year, or they're gone.
and LPR managment has reason to listen them..they just finished team LPR dream Giro. |

Bernard Kohl in AD sportwereld: "Rabobank Continental was the first and only team where the team directors told us to not take any kind of doping. In all other teams, they never told us not to use anything. I'm sure the continental team was clean"
He didn't say anything about the PT team though (he never rode there ofcourse). |

Just because the team directors told them not to doesn't make it clean. One or two riders may still ignore them.

Which is also what Kohl said "There were no teams with organised doping. Riders organise it theirselves, without the team knowing." |

Sounds like he is planning a comeback after all. |

well, investigations about Team Telekom revealed organized doping over at least one decade. Also Paul Kimmage's 'Rough Ride' goes into that direction.
Ok, it's pretty old stuff but thinking that all this system has changed now and only few, single black sheeps are doping anymore is kinda naive if you ask me

I don't think it's that there are only a few black sheep doing it, but he's saying it's not managers organizing it.
Instead, they're just turning a blind eye. How grand. |

I don't see him ending up anywhere else than at Saxo Bank. |

Best. Interview. Ever.
Reporter: How have your fans treated you through these hard times?
Boonen: I even received gifts. One day there were rolls and a pie in front of my door.

It was a tongue in cheek comment.
This is the standard line we're all supposed to believe when it comes to dope - ie "it's a few bad apples," and management are not involved/have no knowledge of the dope.
Give someone like Kohl a few years and he'll be the new David Millar. |

Astana has decided not to take any action towards Klöden since there's no evidence. |

Well, I don't know if it's true. With Team Sky, it's like Katusha last year - pretty much all riders with contracts ending this season are being rumoured to Sky. |
