Do they have AC's blood bag?
because they have had contas blood for a while but haven't requested AC's. Also with the judge back will they get the blood.

It's one of the reasons the IOC keep Olympic samples for 8 years.

Just another thought :
To match Contador's DNA, they don't need Giro samples. They can take the blood of one of the several tests he has had (like every rider), and match it with Puerto "A.C." blood DNA
Why waiting for Giro samples ?

Well, maybe now Contador will be suspended just in time for Lance to take ownership of his newly named Livestrong team right before the Tour. How perfect!....? |

The problem the whole time that has made all this go nowhere is that everyone keeps asking the spanish for the blood bags from Puerto and the spanish keep saying "no. because no." which translates to "no. we don't want you suspending spanish athletes from tennis, cycling, football and all ther other sports that fuentes said were involved".
The italians managed to get the blood bags this january. And they went after Valverde, whose blood they happen to have from the day when the 2008 Tour went through Italy. Now they also have Contador's blood.

OK, that's important. But how did they manage to get it ? I didn't really follow that

Paraphrasing, it went something like this
- Hey where's the judge that kept denying us the blood bags?
- Serrano's not here, he's on vacation, I'm his replacement. What can I do for you?
- Oh, uhh...there's these blood bags that we totally never asked for before and that Serrano totally never denied us. Can we have them?
- Sure, why not.

Or what will happen is we'll hear that samples are positive, get excited that it's Contador...and it will just be Ricco again. |

that could happen, but I think that we have more chances that Contador's blood match with the AC one than he been caught with CERA in Giro.

Riccò assured everyone he had only "made the mistake" of using CERA at the Tour. This will prove him to be a liar....again.

I'm wondering, though, if they actually have more than just Valverde's blood bag. From what I remember, they only got Valverde's blood bag in that famous 'Serrano is on vacation'-incident. |

If they have the AC sample then they have to be clever enough to match it, and if they match it will it come out positive, and if it does did they get this legally.
that is the big question is the fact that they could have the AC DNA and match it with Contador DNA but if it isn't legaly done, he will get away with.
plus CERA breaks down in blood over time, that is why cyclist wait as long as they can before asking for a counter expertise, and one year after I am not sure there will be any trace of CERA in the samples

The CERA samples have arrived at Châtenay-Malabry for testing. Which is along with Lausanne the best lab in the world in this regard.
I'm guessing we'll know the results in a week or so.

Is it CONI that gave the samples to the french laboratory, or not ?
