Ah, so that why he suddenly wasnt in the Giro lineup anymore...
although I must say I forgot the reason they mentiond for that.
The team press release says he asked the team to not be included for "personal problems"
Right.
Also, whoever writes the english section of the katusha website has HORRIBLE english
what I found now on www.wvcycling.com: they report Pfannberger said he was suprized not to be in the lineup anymore, and that it's because 'Katyusha seemingly wants to win the TTT after McEwen dropped out, and they dont think I'm strong enough for that dicipline'

Bye, Pfannberger. Yet another case where it was too damn obvious.
Couldn't agree more, former doper and then he turns up last year with three top 10s in the ardenne classics.

Indeed, returning from a doping ban, being an average rider, and then suddenly finishing 3x top 10 in the Ardennes was a bit too much.
Also another Austrian. They are as bad as Germany now. |

On topic: No suprise there, already found it suprising he wasn't caught last years. |

Always feels good to update my site. But to be honest I thought that he was going to be taken last year, when he was good. This year he was more "normal" and therefore in my brain not a dope. |

He was sick and injured. Because of that, he didn't have time to build form. Which is why he wasn't good.

Didn't know that. But Katusha still had a good classic season. |

Indeed, same reason why for example Cancellara wasn't good in the Belgian classics. You can't get injured or sick, especially if it happens 2 times. |

Surely. But Amphétamine is better. Ulrich take it when he was at hospital in 2003 |

Surely you jest, Pfannberger would never cheat, let alone twice!
