Hannes Converter 2007 v2.0 (works with savegames too)
Addy291
as you obviously can't be dealing with the Convertor 2.0 i suggest using the Hannes Editor 1.0, it is much more user friendly
https://www.pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthr...ad_id=1049

and if you're thinking that is an older version then it isnt, the 2 mentioned are completley different editors made by the same guy also if you still have trouble with the German, even though it is hardly used, ask Smoothie how to turn it into English, he seems to have a master planWink

Thanks man.

Yeah I've tried that (Hannes Editor 1.0) but it messed up the file on a number of things ex. sprinters became climbers etc.
Now I'm playing with a database (GCT DB 1.1) and now I can change anything (with Hannes Editor 1.0) the game crashes when I load it. Don't know why.

Think I know now what to do with Hannes Converter 2007 v2.0.
Noticed that I didn't downloaded Access on my new harddrive (me, smartass)

Did you remember to unpack the DB before editing it?

the GCT db is already unpackedWink

Well, I've been having the same issue, at least with savegames. Load game, play, close, edit, load again - BOOM!

I don't know if this can go in the Big Book Of Idiotic Things To Do or not, but what I ended up doing is this: when you load your database, you load it from c:\...\my documents\Pro Cycling Manager 2007\Database\Solo. In there you see a cdb file and a cdb~ file. I edited the cdb, and then copied it over the cdb~ file. Hocus Pocus, it works - I have a savegame that has all the changes I made...

As for what to edit and where : it's partially trial and error, but there's a nice XLS document from AlyssaFan, that holds a list of all tables and fields. That might give you an indication on what might be useful.

Anyway :

Change your squad : DYN_team
Change stats : DYN_cyclist
Change contract : DYN_cyclist_contract
Change goals : STA_objective_sponsor_info
Change fav. races (for your team leaders) : DYN_participation_leader
Change sponsor stuff : STA_secondary_sponsor

I have some SQL bits and pieces from my edits (if you're working in the Access DB directly)

Got the hang of it now Smile
Have changed a lot already.
Found a helpful guide in pdf made by a danish bloke, it's in danish but every move is highlighted by a big red arrow.

Now I'm gonna play a full season and in the middle of TdF I'm gonna retire and injure Vino, Rasmussen etc (he,he)

Now that I've got the hang of it, I really like this editor. It gives access (no pun intended) to all the data, which is what I want.

Just wondering though, if there's any chance of an update to the Hannes2006 version to align with this version?

"Change contract : DYN_cyclist_contract"
How do I know who is who in the table there.. there is just a whole lot of number ID's... For example, where is Hushovd or Lance etc. - how do I find that out?

DYN_cyclist - this is where you'll find the IDs for the riders.

That is one thing. I know that it is where you find the ID for the riders, but how to sort one from another is more difficult, even if you have the team ID as well as the rider ID. Is there anyplace I can find out wich rider it is, by seeing the ID?

I don't quite see the problem.

In DYN_cyclist, you can see all the IDs of the riders with their names right after it. So, find the rider in DYN_cyclist that you want to edit and memorize the ID. Open DYN_contract_cyclist and find the rider's ID, and edit.

Any help editing fitness with Hannes Converter? I thought I'd done it right but now the training fitness screen shows 80+ but the main squad screen says fitness in the 50s for all but one rider that I didn't edit. Annoying.

Link is dead in download section and the site from authors is down.

Can anyone reupload Hannes Converter 2.0 ?
