Comments from myself.
Points Race - Newton was defiantly in control the whole race but he was not heavily marked, its definatly easy to blame it on that but it wasn't. He did too much work to bridge a gap the 4 man group. That then set up the sprint for the Aussie and the Dane. It was just an unlucky twist for newton.
Mens team sprint
GB had nothing to prove so im not to worried about them not getting gold
Womens Pursuit
Yeah Wendy is coming the the latter part of the career its a shame she couldn't step up on the top spot.

GB have nothing to prove, to be honest i would prefer them not to win many because it relieves the pressure helping the rebuilding process. |

It's a sign of the times when we get however many medals we got but are unhappy that none of them are gold. 5-10 years ago we'd be celebrating like mad. |

agreed, after the olympic year we just had, who cares? It's time to test out young riders and start the 4 year process over again.

Levy won Keirin gold can´t believe that
He was angry because he would like to do the team sprint instead that he done the keirin and something else (forgot that ) and won gold
I hope GB will win the most gold medals otherwise I have a big problem

Taylor Phinney wins first mens World Championship in 13 years, winning the Individual Pursuit.
While he may not ever amount to anything more than a prologue specialist on the road, it is nice for the US to start having a decent track program again.
And you wont see much of a mention of this on any US sports news show. |
