Tour of Siam, 6 Stages:
Stage 5, Wachiralonkorn Dam - Kanchanaburi:
Miyazawa had to defend his jersey yet again, he didn't want to waste any energy on the boni sprints this time and in the end this seemed to be a mistake, the lead is still his but the points jersey has gone to this guy
Anuar Manan is clearly the strongest in a chaotic sprint
Result:
1. Anuar Manan LETUA CYCLING TEAM 4h02'42
2. Peter Van Agtmaal P3 TRANSFER - FONDAS TEAM s.t.
3. Mohammad Umardi Rosdi LETUA CYCLING TEAM s.t.

Stage 6, Kanchnaburi - Pethchaburi:
Miyazawa wanted to make sure that he would win this tour and so he grabbed a total of 16 pts and seconds to secure his lead, the points jersey is now also his again but can he keep it? For the first time we had a train for him
Fukushima and Arashiro are the lead out guys for Miyazawa, Manan is not up front!
The sprint starts but the other train has a faster start and so Miyazawa follows the Fondas sprinter, Van Agtmaal...200 metres to go:
Nishitani won't win today, but Miyazawa, Manan and Timofeev are all onto Van Agtmaal!
Timofeev meets the man with the hammer while Van Leeuwen suddenly comes close as well...Miyazawa doesn't win the sprint but who wins?
Miyazawa ends 2nd behind Van Agtmaal and in front of Van Leeuwen, both aren't threats to both of his jerseys --8)

Now off to our only race in February
Tour de Langkawi, 10 Stages:
Rous and Wu are our leaders here even though they may lack some form, Miyazawa is the guy for the sprints
Stage 1, Dataran Lang - Underwater World:
The first stage is an easy one since it's only 86 kms long, but still the final offers alot of dangerous corners and a sudden move by Borghesi a la Zabel destroys Miyazawa's chances of getting a decent result today. Luckily he's fine and is the only one of the fallen ones who makes haste to get back on his bike as Jaksche loses his chances for the overall win here
Miyazawa lies on Marichal's bike as Jackshe (in the background) loses valuable time
Up front meanwhile there is a battle as today's winner will also grab the leaders jersey, Hushovd looks good but he gets beaten by a small Malaysian dare devil
Anuar Manan wins in Malaysia!
Result:
1. Anuar Manan LETUA CYCLING TEAM 1h54'19
2. Thor Hushovd CRÉDIT AGRICOLE s.t.
3. Alberto Loddo SERRAMENTI PVC DIQUIGIOVANNI - SELLE ITALIA s.t.

Stage 2, Kangar - Kulim:
Last flat stage before we have the hilly stage to the Cameron Highlands, therefore Manan wanted to make sure that he could win another stage and so his Letua teammates neutralized most of the breaks. Miyazawa managed to sprint along this time but he ended 13th right behind Hushovd. Up front Manan has a battle with the 2 Italians from the Selle Italia team
Anuar Manan beats both Loddo and Borghesi
Result:
1. Anuar Manan LETUA CYCLING TEAM 3h39'29
2. Alberto Loddo SERRAMENTI PVC DIQUIGIOVANNI - SELLE ITALIA s.t.

Tour de Langkawi, 10 Stages:
Stage 3, Kuala Kangsar - Cameron Highlands:
Well we certainly won't see Manan winning today --8)
It's the 1 bottle stage which means, when you start to ride in the red (a quote from Mr. Ducrot --8) ) you will immediatly feel the pain. Rous is not in perfect shape but he should be able to stay in the pack together with Wu and Fukushima, on the last climb a Kazakh goes onto an early attack. Diadychkin looks good but then the pack explodes as the French mtb;er Gadret takes off
Left: Dyadichkin tried it but failed...Right: Gadret is on his way to total leadership in this tour
John Gadret doesn't lose anything and wins the stage, Fukushima ends 21st as Rous and Wu are also present in the group which consists of 33 riders.
John Gadret takes the lead and it will be tough to beat him...
Result:
1. John Gadret AG2R PRÉVOYANCE 3h42'28
2. Cyril Dessel AG2R PRÉVOYANCE + 40

Stage 4, Kota Bahru - Gua Musang:
After yesterday's tough stage the pack would maybe allow a break today, a nice break with our 2nd sprinter Arashiro is caught but a 12 man break with Kazuya Okazaki in it is allowed...
The break with the most notable names being Costa, Dumoulin, Tomei, McCarthy, Lindgren and ofcourse Okazaki
However Okazaki's sprint is weak, and since the power aint there to break away it will be a sprint in this group. Samuel Dumoulin is the clear favourite but then Costa takes off with Fouche and Olman! Dumoulin tries everything to get back with Okazaki in his wheel but he would end 3rd today, Okazaki would end 6th but who won? Fouche or Costa?
Costa's plan works and he brings home the bacon
result:
1. Pedro Costa VITÓRIA - ASC 3h59'28
2. Herman Fouche TEAM KONICA MINOLTA s.t.
3. Samuel Dumoulin AG2R PRÉVOYANCE s.t.
4. Miles Olman SOUTHAUSTRALIA.COM - AIS s.t.

Tour de Langkawi, 10 Stages:
Stage 5, Kota Bahru - Kuala Tereng:
Well, today we again tried to get in the break with Arashiro but yet again he wasn't allowed to and so it was Okazaki who was in today's break (again!)
8 Riders who have a large gap, will they make it?
The group is not so strong so Okazaki could end high in a sprint even though Contrini seems to strong for the rest...they start the sprint and Okazaki looks good behind Contrini and Loh but then there is a case of bad management, the manager didnt notice that the gap shrunk alot and so today's winner is
Mike Friedman beats the 2 Selle Italians yet again, Okazaki ends 17th...
Result:
1. Mike Friedman TEAM SLIPSTREAM 3h44'11
2. Fabio Borghesi SERRAMENTI PVC DIQUIGIOVANNI - SELLE ITALIA s.t.

Stage 6, Kuala Terrenganu - Cukai:
From now on Nippo has a new jersey, new bike, new helmet thanks to Miya! --8)
*yawn* again a flat stage, but this time Arashiro was able to get in today's break which was a big one and so once the gap grew the pack would never see these 13 escapees back
Group of 13 with Arashiro dropping to the back of the group, Jamsran is also in the group! --8)
Arashiro is the best sprint but the South African Seyfert also has some powerful legs and so he keeps an eye on him, however he loses contact with Seyfert and drops to the back of the group! :x Arashiro would win some terrain but ended 4th...Seyfert led out the sprint for Belgy and Ayabe but they both couldnt finish it
Nippo stays winless as Seyfert wins today

who cares bout the TDF? It's all about the Tour De Langkawi baby!B)
Tour de Langkawi, 10 Stages:
Stage 7, Kuantan - Karak:
Perhaps the last stage for the 'weaker' ones, since the following 2 stages are more up and down. And today the sprinter teams and the AG2R team didnt mind the break in which Bole was present together with guys such as Contrini, Vaugrenard, Poilvet, Loh and the Italian sprinter Bucciero. They get 6 mins but in the end it goes down a bit because Contrini is only 5 and a half minutes behind Gadret. But then the cycling angels help Contrini!
Left: Contrini drinks and increases the pace, Right: 6 minutes behind the break Gadret punctures!
And so even though the Disco's start working Contrini will probably take over the lead and wear the jersey for 1 day since Gadret won't return to the pack. Up front we make sure that Bole doesnt do a turn too much but Bucciero doesnt like it and pulls hard with 1 km to go where only Vaugrenard can follow, Bucciero is the better sprinter but Vaugrenard is sitting perfectly in his wheel!
Left: Bucciero starts the sprint with the young Frenchman in his wheel, Right: Bucciero takes it!
Result:
1. Antonio Bucciero CERAMICA PANARIA - NAVIGARE 3h49'22
2. Benoît Vaugrenard FRANÇAISE DES JEUX s.t.

This mountain stage doesnt look extremely difficult, but the difficulty lies within the stage as there are no bottles, nada! So from km 1 we protect Rous with all our guys, hoping that he can end in the top 10 but since there is quite a strong field that could turn out to be difficult. However some climbers are dumb enough to attack and have to pay for that and so Rous has to let go and leaves 10 riders in front of him but since Jackshe already lost time in a flat stage he will take the 10th spot in the overall classification
Rous drops while he sees Uran, Stetina and Jackshe dropping as well
Up front the real climbers step up! Gadret, Dessel and Pedraza were all strong today but they couldn't stop this cowboy from the Discovery team
Tom Danielson wins and is happy as you can tell from his smile

Tour de Langkawi, 10 Stages:
Stage 9, Putraya - Seremban:
This was perhaps our lastchance to win a stage and so we tried everything to get Fukushima in today's break but nothing worked as the pack chased down every single break. Because of that the pack breaks on the biggest hill of the day but the pace stays high and so Rous can't even attack but some others can! McGee and Gadret take off as Danielson tries to follow them. But while Rous hangs on he will still rise to the 9th spot since Stetina the number 8 is a few mins behind. Up front Gadret and Danielson offer no challenge to the Aussie
McGee wins the 9th stage as Danielson secures his win...

Now at the beginning of March we go to France to ride some races over there...first up:
3 Jours du Vaucluse, 3 Stages:
Wu has the best form but a break could be decisive in this tour and so we are going to use Inoue, Arashiro and Fukushima for that
Stage 1, Morieres les Avignon - Rasteau:
The first stage and since the pack takes it easy on the big hills, most of the sprinters make it. A break with Inoue is caught with 32 kms to go and so we have a sprint with alot of Agritubel's up front, Dekkers, Ravard, Gaztanaga and Jalabert...who's going to win?
Hans Dekkers beats his teammate Ravard as Arashiro ends 5th
Result:
1. Hans Dekkers AGRITUBEL 3h37'38
2. Anthony Ravard AGRITUBEL s.t.
3. Romain Vanderbiest AG2R CHAMBÉRY CYCLISME FORMATION s.t.
4. Juri Metluchenko MAPAMAP - BANTPROFI s.t.
5. Yukiya Arashiro NIPPO CORPORATION - MEITAN HOMPO CO. LTD - ASADA s.t.
6 Nicolas Jalabert AGRITUBEL s.t.

24 Emilien-Benoît Bergès AGRITUBEL s.t.
25 Kazuo Inoue NIPPO CORPORATION - MEITAN HOMPO CO. LTD - ASADA s.t.
Stage 2, Gordes - Cavaillon:
Fukushima would try to get in today;s break but the break is only allowed to go when Fukushima isnt a part of it :x With 50 kms to go some outsiders attack and Agritubel works but isnt strong enough. So with 10 kms to go we have a Dutchman, an Austrian and 2 Frenchmen up front. Keizer, Tedros, Bagot and Binet are quite equal to eachother but with 6 kms to go Keizer feels strong and goes for the win, he succeeds and wins the stage solo and takes over the lead.
Left: They don't respond to the attack, Right: Keizer takes the win in sunny France
Result:
1. Martijn Keizer RABOBANK CONTINENTAL 4h03'33
2. Yoann Bagot VC LA POMME MARSEILLE + 30
3. Robel Tedros TEAM SWIAG TEKA s.t.
4. Alexandre Binet VENDÉE U - PAYS DE LA LOIRE s.t.

23 Denis Robin AGRITUBEL s.t.
24 Steve Chainel AUBER 93 s.t.
25 Julien Antomarchi VC LA POMME MARSEILLE s.t.
Stage 3, Cavaillon - Peruis:
Today we had Arashiro in the break, and more and more riders joined making it a very dangerous break. The break would split up so that 6 riders remained up front, they had an advantage of 1,32 which means the winner of the stage takes the overall win! The 6 are Mederel, Etxebarria, Arashiro, Fondard, Lavoine and Degand. Arashiro is the best sprinter but Fondard is by far the best climber and unfortunately Fondard's legs were fresher...
Result:
1. Romain Fondard CYCLOCLUB DE NOGENT SUR OISE 3h45'21

Our newest signing are all getting into shape and especially Wu is feeling good. Arashiro is our leader but first we try to get into the break, first Saramotins, then Bole and even Rous but they all fail. Then Wu makes the jump to join 4 Belgians and he succeeds. Behind them 6 others get away but they would never reach the front group. After a while Dierckx has to let go and now it's Wu, Delffosse and Cappele.
Cappele up front with Wu and Delfosse behind him, will they make it?
In the back the AG2R espoirs work yet again, and since they have been working all day long they are a bit tired and can't seem to reach the escapees, now Wu has to take advantage of the climb where he has to show everyone his strenght but he makes a rookie mistake as he wants Capelle to take over...
Wu loses contact to Capelle as Delfosse didnt close the gap while he fell back!
Wu leaves Delfosse behind and does it himself, he comes closer in the decent but now close enough it seems...when Capelle crosses the 1 km flag his lead looks safe but then the young Belgian meets the man with the hammer! Wu now closes in and with 250 metres to go he is in his slipstream!
Wu is now right behind Capelle who almost falls of his bike, will he finish it?
Great victory for Wu and the team which was rather unexpected!

Same kind of race as the last one but it's a bit more difficult, again we try to do the same as we get Wu in a big break that has alot of potential
The break with the lazy Berard in the back doing nothing :x
However, Berard's teammates make sure the gap never really grows, so we have a back up plan as Rous attacks on the toughest climb of the day...once he is in the break Wu sets a high pace and sacrifices himself for the leader Rous
Rous is coming as Wu already gets up front...
But then the lazy Berard counterattacks Lalouette who overtook the break together with Gautier...they all pass Rous' group where Wu has to let go a few kms later because of his work. Gautier however cant follow Lalouette and now we have this situation:
Rous will be fighting for the 4th place today...
And Rous does end 4th which is still a decent result in a race dominated by Frenchmen, up front Berard has to pay for his earlier efforts as Lalouette easily loses him, Gautier comes back out of nowhere but wouldn't threathen Lalouette's win
Lalouette wins in the streets of Troyes

well Ive started to like the playing with Nippo so much that I'l just continue and my aim is to continue and only end when cya logic forces me to do so
Now that Serebriakov has become better (exp. level went up, he now has 70 FL and 76 SP) he will be our leader here, however Wu's great shape will not be ignored and he will try to be in today's break!
Well unlike last time the field isnt controlled by the AG2R espoirs because...they aren't here! However Agritubel fullfills that role this time as they work for their sprinters. Still a 11 man break gets the space and with 50 kms to go and a 6 min advantage its looks unlikely that Agritubel will get the win today. The group excists out of 11 unknown cyclists with Wu being one of them, with 10 kms to go 3 guys decide to escape from the group and Wu is feeling so good that he chases them, when we go into the final corner towards the finish Wu leads the 3 others trough the corner
Wu up front with Mespoulede, Aernouts and Mars in his wheel
No one wants to take over anymore and so the others are able to come back, there isnt a real sprinter in the group and so we could have a surprising winner. Wu sees Wesoly in his wheel but then Mespoulede tries to surprise from the back and Wu has no other choice then to start the sprint up front!
WoW, will Wu pull of a sprint a la Casar?!?
And again the young man from Hong Kong pulls it off as he surprised everyone, the local journalists immediatly start shouting: "Who Won? WHO?" Well France, if you haven't met Wu last week...here he is --8)
