Herzog is a cool rider. I would probably develop him slightly different though.
Barrenetxea was unfortunately our of my reach, but I really had hoped to be signing him. Awesome talent that is very easy to develop, and could even do 70+COB also at the small sacrifice of MO, which I think would be a cool little twist for planning versatility

Two very good talents picked up to start off transfers. The Los Pollos talent factory is alive and well

Barrenetxea looks fun. Herzog just has a fun stat line! Solid start.

First signing via deals of the season, as we welcome the Portuguese youngster, who is on a minimum salary, in a swap deal with Jonel Carcueva. Lopes will be a future uphill domestique for Ayuso, Lopez Nolasco and who knows who else. Just don't ask him to pull the peloton in the valleys.

I wasn't that happy when Ezee told me Lopes will leave to you. At least we didn't cross ways more often this transfers ...

Nice talent. I would be unhappy with that FL though. I think I would do CLv2 for the sole purpose of giving him 63FL. It can be trained for peanuts though so if it's a rider you want to keep, it probably makes no difference

Well, it's not a real transfer season without us signing the obligatory 78 TT talent, is it? Had expected a fight from a local team, but luckily it didn't happen and Gojko stayed at 75k. Welcome, Nicolas! He'll be loaned out to reach level 3 at the end of the season.

Was also a bit surprised to see him go for 75K. But a very cool little TT'er. That 79PRL and 72SPR makes for a useful rider in many races to sneak up U25 points aswell as being an early part of a leadout train.

One time trialist was not enough, so here's the next one. The former Glanbia rider Dillon Geary will complete his development over the two next years. The South African was a bit overlooked due to everything else except his time trialing capacity, but we believe he has his worth!

You know the calendar doesn't consist entirely of flat TTs, right?

Wait, what??????
For the next season we'll be taking two Sanmarinese riders on loan from Sauber, getting them some PT experience. We wish them both a warm welcome and hope they enjoy their ride at LPH.

Some people said our focus was too much on flat time trials, so I guess we needed to focus on something else. To keep the flat time trials a bit in the picture we did manage to get a guy who can also do that, although his expertise lies elsewhere.
Scalco got contracted at the wage of 310k and is our future Lopez Nolasco. Very nice allround skills and definitely some training potential for the Italian, which makes it 2 Italian future leaders named Matteo. Matteo will enjoy his first year as a pro cyclist close to home, training in (or mostly around) the Vatican at Banco Vaticano-Valkyrie.

Scalco is absolutely brilliant! Love the signing. For this game engine, you can't go much better regarding a GT rider |

Top top rider for the future, really like the statline
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Talent factory keeps churning out more Pollos for the future

In a way of helping out both ourselves and Tafjord Kraft, Norwegian talent Karsten Feldmann comes our way for the season.
 | Feldmann | 72 | 56 | 63 | 70 | 57 | 69 | 69 | 65 | 61 | 73 | 73 | 65 | 57 | 61 | 23 |
As part of this deal, we also sent them a 1-3 loan. As we didn't yet a level one rider, we decided to sign Abdulla Jasim Al-Ali. He will max out as an interesting rider.
 | Jasim Al-Ali | 68 | 65 | 68 | 70 | 65 | 63 | 65 | 64 | 61 | 67 | 68 | 66 | 65 | 65 | 23 | | Jasim Al-Ali | 71 | 68 | 75 | 78 | 66 | 71 | 69 | 67 | 61 | 72 | 75 | 71 | 68 | 66 | 26 | | Jasim Al-Ali | 71 | 66 | 77 | 77 | 68 | 68 | 72 | 68 | 61 | 71 | 75 | 73 | 66 | 65 | 26 |
Nothing beats getting many level one riders as a PT team. So we got one more with the Colombian Juan Felipe Rodriguez who will max as a climbing dom and has gone on loan to Air New Zealand-Prada for the season.
 | Rodriguez | 64 | 69 | 68 | 67 | 58 | 70 | 68 | 66 | 55 | 56 | 72 | 68 | 73 | 56 | 23 | | Rodriguez | 65 | 77 | 75 | 69 | 60 | 77 | 73 | 71 | 55 | 56 | 76 | 71 | 76 | 58 | 26 |
Several riders have left us. Aular will try to light the PCT on fire at McCormick Pro Cycling, and Ruiz will aim to do the same in the CT with Air New Zealand-Prada. Both are loaned out and will return at the end of the season, although chances are big they will both never rider in LPH colours again.
Top sprinter Halvorsen was sold for good and ended up at MOL. After one season, Carcueva has left us for our DeNA Roadstars. Erdenebat has been sold to Riders of Rohan.
When it comes to self developed riders, another four riders have left us. The cobbling duo of Ulloa and Malacarne has gone to THE ONE - Fox God. Ulloa was the first ever talent scouted by the team's management, so it definitely hurts to let him go. Hopefully he can score some points and eventually win a race in CT in the coming seasons.
Beltran has gone to the Vatican and immediately received some training there, which hopefully allows him to score nicely as well in CT this season. Another painful sale was the one of Osorio. The Colombian was also a talent signed in the first season of the team, which means no more riders of the first season will race for us this season. We were very happy to see him receiving some climbing training though, and are assured he has found himself a great home at SEE Turtles.
Ocampo went from 78 to 80 Time Trial last season, and underperformed. He gets another boost to 82 this season, and hopefully performs in our goal races, which are based on his capacities. The ultimate goal is for Ocampo to one season win the WC ITT.
