Monk continuing to disappoint at this level. Did what he needed to by getting into the lead group, a bit unfortunate to puncture, but to then use his energy trying to get away only to finish 13th out of the lead 13 is bitterly disappointing.

Ah well, next one!

4 in the Top15, 5 in the Top20 + Gayral and Loan-out Marte up there too. When did i become a cobbles team again? I specifically didn't want this! But points is points!

6th is undoubtedly our best result ever in a cobbled race, if you don't count winning the flat stage in Faso. And another few bike lenghts and it could have been more. Although it hurts when taking 6th in C2 is the 5th best outcome among PCT managers.

As good of a result as we could hope for, not being at the race ourself. Sheffield with a strong result to show what he can do in future years and lots of points going off to the PCT.

Super fun race to watch and read - especially with the impact of the hills.
