Good to know what motivates Aliaksandr.
Thanks for the report. Congrats to JPH and Laurens on the wins. No wacky splits so the GC starts tomorrow for all the key guys.

Better sprint from Kamberaj this time but not quite the results we were after

Our race starts in stage 3 with the TT. Hopefully Howson can get a strong finish. Then going for stage wins or placings in the hills since I don't think gaps will be big enough for Kelderman or Bennett to catch up GC wise.

Bissegger in the top 10. Let's go!
Now we need to keep him near the front in the last two stages.

Not great Lasinis with a decent time so could be a decent GC finish for him

A fantastic ride for Powless, which is obviously crucial for Colombini! Been hopeful for them this year after so much investment in talent and training - maybe this can help turn the season toward staying in PCT.

Dominant stuff from Powless. He looks pretty safe for the GC.
For the rest of the guys I think all depends on how the last two stages play out.
Thanks for the report.

Congrats on the win, Adler!
Küng with a decent TT to snatch a GC top 10 if the hilly stages actually produce some gaps. APP 3 minutes behind is not the best position, but at least he should now be able to contest the remaining stages without any major GC concerns and go for stage results.

Expected more from Bjerg, but also could have been worse I guess. We'll see how this influences our GC ambitions

Kaczmarek at least not far behind when the hills starts tomorrow, might be in a shot for a top 10 if we're very lucky?
Thank you so much redordead! |

Good effort from Oliveira. Hopefully we can move up with our GC riders for some minor points.
Thanks red for the reports!

Good to see Matsumoto in the break grabbing some KoM points, but hoped to see more of Morin in the final. Hänninen losing a lot of time is also a shame, as he should be good enough to stay with the favorites and climb in the GC.
Hopefully we can save some face on the final stage!

This season is just going from bad to worse to even worse.
Poor showing from Thijssen to not make the Top 10 on either of the opening stages. Conci and Cosnefroy underperforming in the TT and then not one of them making the cut to finish in the first 33. Cosnefroy not making it I can take but Conci not making it is utterly insane.
Awful race for us only getting worse.

Congrats on the win, Ulrich! APP getting a podium is obviously good, but even better were the time differences catapulting Küng into 6th overall. Let's do this again tomorrow and it's been a good race for us.

Good to see some involvement from Niu and Bettiol on stage 4, and Willwohl on stage 1. Not one for us to be heavily involved in, GC-wise, but nice to see some involvement in the really excellent reports. Thank you red

Devasting day for Vernon to lose three minutes and any chance for a good GC result. I know he isn't the best on the inclines, but still hurts he couldn't fight harder to at least finish in the second group behind the leaders.

Great win by Narvaez, looks like the team really backed him and we were always near the front. He has been such a solid guy for us but this is his first win so that is a nice landmark.
With Riabushenko here and Narvaez and a couple of GC outsiders I was afraid this could go horribly wrong and send the AI into total confusion. But it worked our really well today with Daniel and Cabrera both staying in the front group, perhaps because of Narvaez. Tougher stage tomorrow so if we do a lot of work for Narvaez that could cost us.
