Here is our next FA signing. Please welcome, Damian Howson! He joins us for a 155k wage for the upcoming season.
One of the best TT riders in Oceania. We are super excited to have him here on the squad and cannot wait to see what he can do in action. This is not the first time we have had a strong TT rider in the team, however he is definitely the first Aussie TT champion we have had. This is super exciting and we cannot wait to see him in action!

@Heine - Thanks mate! We are really happy with the signing of Coquard and Howson. We think both will score excellent and much needed points for us this season. Really excited to see how they go and for one of them, we think he could start off with a bang from day 1
Last time we were in the PCT, we managed to get a legend of the hills in Jack Bobridge. We had faith in him and unfortunately, age had caught up with him and he could not get us the points we needed. We have gone for a different tactic this time. Let's introduce some of our hill squad from free agency.
Please welcome Wilco Kelderman. He joins us on a 90k wage to lead the hill squad this season.
We are very excited to have Wilco Kelderman on the team. We think he will be an excellent leader in the hills for us. We have gone a slightly different route with our hills squad. We haven't gone for a stand out super star this time, just a rider that can compete. We hope to score some decent points with Wilco this season. He will have some great support throughout the season.

For Wilco Kelderman's support we thought we should go back in time. Please welcome Joshua Edmondson who joins the team, once again, for 50k wage.
We are very excited the have Edmondson back on the team. He was once our hills leader and now gets to show his support for Kelderman. He is just above the threshold to lead C2 races but he should be able to do well in some hill classics and races in the C1 and even have a chance in the higher divisions both leading, and support Wilco. We are very excited to have Josh back and can't wait to see him in action!

Almost there. With our team filling up, our budget getting smaller, means we are almost done with our transfer season. We have confirmed our leaders but we needed those support riders and young talents to secure the future of the team.
Firstly, we have Muhamma Afif Ahmad Zamri
Zamri is a great support stage racer, he is going to be excellent support for the leaders on the team and may get some attempts in the breakaway! He signs on a 50k wage and we are excited to see him in action!
| FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | | 69 | 74 | 72 | 69 | 74 | 70 | 72 | 73 | 51 | 58 | 67 | 70 | 58 | 74 |
We needed to get some cobble riders who could survive the hardest roads. We have got a few in the team but here's one more. Jakub Skala
Skala will be here to help on the cobbles. While we don't have a great cobbles team, we have a few riders of similar ability who might be able to score us some points in those races where we normally wouldn't be able to.
| FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | | 74 | 56 | 64 | 71 | 56 | 70 | 72 | 65 | 74 | 66 | 71 | 72 | 74 | 69 |
Finally, we have a young talent who will help secure the future for the team in the mountains. Welcome, Igor Arrieta
Arrieta will be able to help secure the future of the team, he will become a fantastic mountain climber and will be able to support and lead a team in the mountains. We are extremely excited to see this young Spaniard grow in the team!
| FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | | 64 | 71 | 68 | 64 | 57 | 68 | 70 | 66 | 61 | 64 | 67 | 78 | 66 | 62 | | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | | 65 | 77 | 74 | 70 | 57 | 69 | 73 | 70 | 61 | 64 | 73 | 84 | 67 | 62 |
These signings are going to help support the team in multiple areas and hopefully help keep the team in the PCT this season!

It is important to always secure the future of the team. We have already announced one of our young talents in Igor Arrieta. Now we have found one that could be even better. This young Bolivian rider will be a fantastic mountain climber in the future and could be a great stage hunter or leader in a race that doesn't go against the clock. Please welcome Carlos Antonio Torrico Menachio! He signs on for 60k wage.
| FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | | 63 | 70 | 67 | 63 | 57 | 69 | 65 | 65 | 63 | 57 | 61 | 69 | 74 | 55 | | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | | 64 | 79 | 75 | 71 | 58 | 72 | 69 | 72 | 63 | 57 | 68 | 77 | 75 | 56 |
We are very excited to see this young rider develop and become a fantastic climber in the future. We also take time to look for young Stagiares to race in all C2 races and also any race from August onwards. We have found a young Belgium that will turn into an excellent cobbles support rider. He signs on for the minimum 10k wage. Let's welcome Robin Orins!
| FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | | 69 | 54 | 58 | 61 | 67 | 71 | 69 | 61 | 68 | 63 | 63 | 74 | 60 | 59 | | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | | 74 | 54 | 58 | 62 | 67 | 76 | 73 | 62 | 75 | 67 | 63 | 74 | 60 | 59 |
Stay tuned for further announcements on riders we have signed from other teams, as well as any other stagiare signings we have done.

You have will no problem surviving this time around with Coquard, Kelderman and co. Next season will be huge with all these leaders declining (again) outside of Carlos. But that's still far away
Best of luck mate!

@AbhishekLFC - That was my intention No I actually didn't know they were all on your team! Excited to have every one of them though! I just wish they were all still at full strength but should still be able to do some good stuff for us!
@Laurens147 - I'm glad you are confident for us After my last attempt at the PCT with everyone telling me that Bobridge will definitely score and he struggled, it makes me nervous the same might happen with Coquard. But they are completely different riders and I am working really hard on the schedule for my leaders to ensure its their best terrain to race on!

Final Stagiare Signing & Let's Talk Transfers!!
Our transfer season is drawing to a close. We have made our final (we think) move in the FA with the signing of our 2nd, and probably last, stagiare. Nicholas Narraway joins us for the minimum 10k wage and will race in all C2 races and then after August.
| FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | | 58 | 68 | 68 | 67 | 54 | 68 | 70 | 69 | 54 | 59 | 67 | 68 | 64 | 63 | | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | | 58 | 75 | 73 | 71 | 54 | 69 | 74 | 74 | 54 | 59 | 72 | 75 | 65 | 63 |
Nicholas will become a great climbing domestique for the team and we are really excited to help him grow as a rider and see him succeed with the team!
Now, with the Free Agent bidding out of the way, let's talk about transfers from other teams. We will do a full rundown of who has left us in the coming days. But for now, let's see who has joined us to strengthen our team!
The first rider joins us to back up Coquard in the sprinting department and also as our back up sprint leader. He has shown excellent ability in the past and while he has had a decline this season, we believe he can still be excellent for us in the PCT. Please welcome Elias Afewerki! He arrives for a 150k transfer fee on 150k wage.
| FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | | 72 | 62 | 63 | 63 | 62 | 76 | 69 | 79 | 68 | 78 | 79 | 67 | 69 | 70 |
Elias will be an excellent addition to the team and will be able to serve as our back up sprinter. He will also go to races with Coquard that require the best leadout we can possibly give. We can't wait to see Elias in action!
The next rider is one that has actually been on our team multiple times and also left multiple times. This time he arrives at the peak of his ability. He joins us along with another rider (who will be mentioned shortly) and at 27, he still has a lot of potential to grow. Please welcome back, the young Kiwi, Kees Duyvesteyn!!
| FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | | 68 | 70 | 74 | 77 | 65 | 67 | 71 | 68 | 60 | 64 | 76 | 75 | 67 | 65 |
Duyvesteyn will be here to aid Kelderman in the hilly races. Duyvesteyn may also have a chance to go for himself, however his main role will be to help our leader. Duyvesteyn has excellent acceleration and we are excited to see his aggressive style of racing in our colours!
This next rider will join us to lead our C2 teams in the mountain races but also help our mountain team where he can. We have had our eye on this Australian for a very long time and with still 3 seasons before he declines, we are excited to see what he can do! For a transfer fee of 150k anda wage of 65k, let's welcome Robert Power!
| FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | | 67 | 77 | 74 | 70 | 66 | 77 | 76 | 79 | 59 | 56 | 63 | 61 | 65 | 65 |
As mentioned above, Power will be our mountain leader in the smaller C2 races and most likely some C1 races. He will also aid Bennett and Rodriguez where he can to ensure we get the best results possible!
As we have never really had a cobbles team, and also lost a key sprinter of the team, we needed to try look for someone who could do both. When this experienced Aussie was offered to us, we couldn't refuse. This rider joins us in the deal along with Kees Duyvesteyn and even though we had to pay a further 500k transfer fee, we feel we have strengthened our squad with this deal! On a 70k wage, welcome Alexander Edmondson!
| FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | | 73 | 58 | 61 | 64 | 64 | 72 | 71 | 77 | 74 | 77 | 75 | 67 | 64 | 74 |
Edmondson, along with Skala, will 'lead' our cobbles team. However, as it is still quite a weak cobbles team, we will also rely on Edmondson to be a strong leadout rider for our sprinters and even take some nice results himself. Both Edmondson and Mudgway will have a chance to sprint for themselves this season and we hope for some decent points from them. Edmondson may also have a chance in a reduced bunch in a cobbles race and we hope to see that this season.
That is all the riders that have joined us permanently for the season through transfers. We have also brought in 3 loanees to help them get some more experience while also saving the team some money.
The first 2 loanees comes from Tinkoff Team - La Datcha. The first of which will help strengthen our cobbles team just a little bit. We are excited to have this young Russian on the team. Welcome to Gleb Syritsa!
| FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | | 69 | 61 | 64 | 66 | 58 | 71 | 72 | 65 | 70 | 67 | 68 | 65 | 67 | 58 |
The next loanee is also Russian and also from Tinkoff Team - La Datcha. This rider will be a key part of our TTT team and also a huge workhorse for the team. Please welcome Lev Gonov!!
| FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | | 66 | 68 | 67 | 66 | 71 | 67 | 73 | 71 | 58 | 67 | 67 | 67 | 75 | 72 |
Our final loanee is from ELCO-ABEA. He joins us to gain as much experience as possible but will also be a key rider in the hilly races to offer support to our leaders. Welcome to the Austrian Marco Schrettl!
| FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | | 64 | 67 | 69 | 71 | 58 | 68 | 71 | 66 | 55 | 56 | 65 | 60 | 71 | 59 |
There you have it. Our final (we think) announcement of riders for the upcoming season. A full team announcement will follow shortly. We are very excited to see how our team performs this year!

@jt - Thanks mate! We were extremely excited to sign Power as he is that perfect secondary leader for C2 races imo. His overall is just below the cut off and he has none of the stats that are capped so it will be great to see him race there. Other then that a great domestique and I think in the coming seasons will prove vital for Carlos once he is maxed.
@SotD - I worked really hard to make sure I wasn't getting too ripped off with deals this season so I am really happy with how I have gone. Also the rider signings I think are smart and good for what we have brought in. Really excited for the season ahead!

Final Signings This Season!
With the transfer season coming to a close in around 7 hours, we have made our final moves the upcoming season in our bid to stay in the PCT this season. We have purchased a new rider to be with the team for the future, and loaned another rider in to help another team develop their young talent. Let's meet these riders.
First we will mention our new permanent rider. at 32 years old, this rider brings experience against the clock and also on the cobblestones. He doesn't give up either and will be a great role model for the younger guys on the team. Welcome Michael Vanthourenhout!!
| FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | | 75 | 66 | 67 | 68 | 72 | 68 | 73 | 68 | 74 | 68 | 68 | 70 | 73 | 70 |
We are extremely excited to have someone with the experience Michael has. He will be an excellent addition to the TTT squad and cobbles squad. He will also be a great strong lead out rider on the flat days for our sprinters! He joins us for 150k fee and on a 55k wage.
Next we have our final loanee of the season as well. This young Brit is the future of British cycling and we are very happy to have him here with us. Please welcome Callum Thornley!!
| FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | | 68 | 61 | 66 | 70 | 65 | 68 | 70 | 65 | 66 | 67 | 70 | 66 | 61 | 67 |
Callum will be helping out our hill leaders and hopefully attempting to gain some experience in all aspects of cycling. We are excited to see this strong youngster in action and in our colours!
Well that does it. Our transfer season has come to a close as we have run out of cash A full team run down will come shortly and a full analysis of where we think we are at with the squad we have built!

I didn't think about C2 eligibility with Power. Hopefully the does the business for you
Also maybe Duyvesteyn finally finds a home instead of bouncing around all the time. I think I did the most for his development through the years.

Good luck with Vanthourenhout, he should be a very valuable support rider like he was for me for 5 seasons.
I think you set yourself up well for PCT. Most of your leaders won't be around for long but you already have a big future star coming through, so are also set for years to come. |

@Redordead - Yeh at the time I didn't realise at the time he was C2 eligible. He should be really good for us! Duyvesteyn I think has now finally found his home. I am excited to see how he goes for us!!
@Bikex - Really excited to see Vanthourenhout in action. He should be an excellent support rider and also score some decent points! Yeh I will have to find new leaders next season, but at least Carlos will be ready to take over as the leader for the team!
@jandal7 - Happy with really all the signings we managed to make this transfer season. I think it is one of the teams best transfer seasons!

Think I have to agree that this is the strongest line-up you've put together. Coquard should hopefully be Coquard, I'm more drawn to it being a big year for Rodriguez, Bennett, Kelderman, Howson and Afewerki to show up in the points for you. Haven't seen the rest of the PCT yet but you should certainly have enough about you to establishing yourselves away from the relegation fight with these veterans of the division, ready for Rodriguez to take over and be joined by some younger leaders next year.
And some quality domestiques and minor scorers around too. Feel like this would be a super fun team to do race selections and planning for - hope you're enjoying it (and doing a great job )!
